Mini Digimon: The Story of the Royal Knights

Wanyamon sees Boogiemon and Troopmon playing soccer and runs in and plays with the ball as it wanted to have fun too. This lead to the duo deciding to use Wanyamon as the ball instead.

Dynasmon was watching them play in the distance and as it enjoys the thought of how amazing soccer was, it realizes the duo were actually using Wanyamon in place of a ball. Dynasmon confronts them, the duo terrified of the Royal Knight. They say they had good reason to use Wanyamon, as they needed to blow off steam after losing all their money via gambling and so were justified in bullying the In-Training Digimon. Disagreeing with their reasoning, Dyansmon delights in defeating them — taking pleasure as they were an obvious instance of evil. After being saved, Wanyamon awes over Dynasmon, finding the Royal Knights cool, though Dynasmon acts edgy and tells it not to come near it. This makes the young Digimon cry, which has Dynasmon regret its actions with it giving it food as an apology.

Dynasmon asks how Wanyamon ended up in its predicament, with Wanyamon explaining what happened. Wanyamon asks Dynasmon why it can't get close, to which Dynasmon seemingly lies and claims it is a bad dangerous Digimon that does bad things. This backfires though, as Wanyamon finds its supposed misdeeds to be cool. It asks to play with Dynasmon, with Dynasmon agreeing to play with it. Dynasmon suggested they "play pretend Royal Knights", with Wanyamon pretending to be Alphamon, and Dynasmon deciding to be itself. Wanyamon though, tells Dynasmon to be Creepymon of the Seven Great Demon Lords instead. "Alphamon" defeats "Creepymon", which leads to Wanyamon playing more and more games with an increasingly worn out Dynasmon. Hours later, Dynasmon finally reaches its breaking point and threatens to beat up Wanyamon, though Wanyamon reacts by asking it if it was good at kicking. Dynasmon says it is, with it attempting to kick the soccer ball to prove it. It accidentally kicks Wanyamon into the sky instead, though.

Magnamon, fellow Royal Knight, had seen Wanyamon land in the square and had mentioned this to Dynasmon when it talked about what had happened to it earlier in the day. When they travel there, Wanyamon seemingly held no ill feelings and instead just asks Dynasmon to play with it again. Some time later, Wanyamon sees Dynasmon and asks why it was smoking. It tells the young Digimon it has no reason to tell it, with Wanyamon going on a rant about how smoking is bad for you and that it was just hurting itself. To shut Wanyamon up, Dynasmon gives it sweets and meat.

Some time later, Wanyamon tells Dynasmon that it wants to meet Alphamon — though Dynasmon tells it that Alphamon rarely shows and that it had no idea where it was. Not phased at all, Wanyamon just asks to meet any other member of the group — as its goal was to get autographs from all thirteen. Dynasmon takes Wanyamon to visit a meditating Omegamon, with Wanyamon looking on in excitement. Wanyamon decides that Omegamon looks like a monk and starts to pray to it, with Dynasmon joining in. This breaks Omegamon's focus though, who stops meditating to tell them to stop worshipping it. Wanyamon asks for its autograph, and a happy Omegamon — impressed that it would come all this way just to get it — happily signs its autograph book. Going back to the prior monk comment, Omegamon decides it actually likes the idea of being a monk and takes off its horns — showing off its now shiny bald head. Wanyamon laughs at its bald head and asks it to do it again, and Omegamon does so over and over. Dynasmon tells it to stop, as it will force it to do it all day, but Omegamon happily continues to do so as it finds the smiles of the young to be the most precious thing in the World. As Dynasmon watches it happen, it eventually snaps — and yells at its fellow Royal Knight to cut it out.

Dynasmon continues to take Wanyamon to meet the Royal Knights, this time taking it to Jesmon — who was in the middle of receiving reports from Sistermon Blanc and Ciel. Wanyamon asks what it's doing, with Jesmon telling it that it was making sure there were no abnormalities in the Digital World as even small abnormalities could cause issues for Yggdrasil and as such needed to stamp out any of them even if they're small ones. Wanyamon, impressed, asks if it could one day become a Royal Knight too — though Jesmon quickly shuts it down. Dynasmon chastises it for trying to ruin such a young Digimon's dream, with Jesmon bringing up that Gankoomon's training was hard and that only elite Digimon could survive it. Having heard how Gankoomon had forced Hackmon to climb a mountain — only to push it off it, over and over, Wanyamon jumps off the nearby platform with a shocked Jesmon freaking out. Dynasmon says it'll probably be fine, since Wanyamon is a sturdy Digimon — and is proven right when Wanyamon returns completely fine.

Jesmon and Dynasmon take Wanyamnon to Gankoomon, with Jesmon asking Gankoomon if it would take Wanyamon on as its new apprentice. A nervous Wanyamon introduces itself really quietly, with Jesmon yelling at it and calling it stupid for being so quiet. Gankoomon beat up Jesmon for doing so, and winds up babying and playing with Wanyamon. The duo play for a while, though Wanyamon eventually says it's tired as Gankoomon had wore it out by constantly asking it to speak louder. This doesn't last though, as it ends up playing hide and seek with Gankoomon and Hinukamuy. Annoyed at how Gankoomon was just babying Wanyamon instead of training it, Jesmon confronts its master. It asks why it was being such a softie, with Gankoomon saying that such a young Digimon should focus on having fun and being a kid and that if they push it too hard it will end up with a bad personality (referring to Jesmon). This angers Jesmon even more, and the two fight each other — Dynasmon taking Wanyamon away as it figured it was time to go home.

On the way home, Omegamon approaches the duo and starts telling Wanyamon jokes — capping it off by doing the same bald head trick as before. As before, Wanyamon finds it hilarious — whilst Dynasmon cries at just how much Omegamon was degrading itself to please Wanyamon. Mini Digimon: The Story of the Royal Knights EP2

Later, as Wanyamon plays with some rocks, an annoyed Dynasmon tells it to stop wasting time and that they need to get a move on if it wants to get all of the Royal Knights autographs.

Wanyamon and Dynasmon find LordKnightmon on an exercise bike, with Wanyamon asking for its autograph. LordKnightmon refuses though, as it didn't want to waste energy on something it wouldn't benefit from. It tells Wanyamon that Digimon should invest in themselves, and that its goal is to have Yggdrasil recognize it as the greatest of all Mega Digimon. Wanyamon tries to bargain by offering to swap its acorns for the autograph, but LordKnightmon turns that down as well. When it tries to trade roly-polis for it, LordKnightmon freaks out as the bugs crawl over it. Disgusted by the bugs, LordKnightmon yells at Wanyamon and says it hates children — though Wanyamon just takes this as a compliment and celebrates being a "terrifying monster". Things get even worse after Wanyamon climbs onto LordKnightmon's head and poops on it. Even further sick of Wanyamon, it agrees to give it its autograph if it goes away. A happy Wanyamon gets its autograph, and then leaves.

Wanyamon and Dynasmon see Examon in the sky, with Dynasmon warning it not to get too close as Examon is so big its body slows down time. Wanyamon doesn't understand and asks for an explanation, though Dynasmon says it'll explain in detail later — this making Wanyamon dance in happiness. Since they couldn't get to Examon, they leave.

They come across Kentaurosmon, with Dynasmon telling Wanyamon about how Kentaurosmon has six legs like a bug. This excites Wanyamon, since it loves bugs, though this offends Kentaurosmon. When Dynasmon points out that its arms give it a total of eight limbs, making it like a spider — Wanyamon says its hates spiders and sprays Kentaurosmon with bug spray. This further offends Kentaurosmon. Kentaurosmon says it is the guardian of the northern ruins, and that Yggdrasil claims at the bottom of them is a sacred secret. Wanyamon asks if the secret is a holy beetle, with Dynasmon saying how that was unlikely. Wanyamon throws a tantrum, saying it wanted to catch some beetles — with Dynasmon blaming Kentaurosmon for the tantrum. A GranKuwagamon shows up, having been eavesdropping, and asks Kentaurosmon what the secret is, though Kentaurosmon beats it up and says it wont ever allow anyone to go near the ruins. Wanyamon tries to catch GranKuwagamon in its bug net, though its fair too small to fit into it. Dynasmon whispers into GranKuwagamon's ear and tells it that Examon knows the secret, then tells Wanyamon to watch through a telescope as time slows down when GranKuwagamon gets near it.

Shortly after, UlforceVeedramon goes up to Wanyamon and Dynasmon and says it had heard Wanyamon had been collecting Royal Knight autographs. UlforceVeedramon happily gives it an autograph, and tells it that it can ask it for more any time it wants. UlforceVeedramon notices how annoyed Dynasmon was to see it, and tells it to to stop overthinking things. Wanyamon tells UlforceVeedramon that it wants to become a Royal Knight, and UlforceVeedramon says if it works hard it will be able to join them one day. Dynasmon asks UlforceVeedramon if it just blindy follows Yggdrasil's orders without thinking about it, with UlforceVeedramon saying whether it obeys orders depends on how it's feeling at the time. As Wanyamon says that's cool, Dynasmon says it hates UlforceVeedramon. Wanting to cause issues for its fellow Royal Knight, Dynasmon tells UlforceVeedramon to go and get Examon's autograph for them and then tells Wanyamon it can now look at a "beetle and dragonfly" for as long as it wants via the telescope — with both GranKuwagamon and UlforceVeedramon both endlessly chasing after Examon, unable to catch up due to the effects Examon's body has on time. The next Royal Knight Wanyamon and Dynasmon visit in their autograph hunt is Leopardmon. Wanyamon asks Leopardmon what it was doing, with it saying it was playing 3d Shogi. Dynasmon says they could learn a lot from Leopardmon since it's smart, with Wanyamon saying it wants to "play school". Leopardmon is impressed that Wanyamon wants to study, though Wanyamon quickly tells Leopardmon to shut up and that studying is for chumps. Unimpressed by the delinquent baby, Leopardmon asks if Dynasmon was to blame for its behaviour and is able to force them both to go to class. As it starts teaching them things, Dynasmon gets bored and flies out of the classroom — taking Wanyamon with it.

They come across Craniamon, who tells them that no matter what — Yggdrasil's word is absolute. As Dynasmon says Craniamon is very devoted and uptight, Wanyamon says how cool it is. It says that Craniamon must really love Yggdrasil, with Craniamon saying it loves Yggdrasil so much it'd even kill itself if commanded to do so. Craniamon tells Dynasmon it can tell it about its worries, though it just gets angry when it senses that Dynasmon doesn't know Yggdrasil's true motives and beats it up.

A while later, they find Gallantmon reading a book. When they approach, Gallantmon says its senses Alphamon — though Dynasmon says he's wrong as hes Dynasmon not Alphamon. Wanyamon asks what the mark on its chest is, with Gallantmon explaining it's the Digital Hazard — which is branded on Gallantmon as it has a dangerous virus inside itself. Dynasmon becomes angry upon learning about this, whilst Wanyamon just finds it cool and says it wants a Digital Hazard too. It pulls out a marker and draws one on itself, which winds up annoying Dynasmon. Wanyamon jumps onto Gallantmon's head and scribbles all over its face, and though Dynasmon thought Gallantmon would be upset — it doesn't mind. Wanyamon covers Gallantmon in roly-polis and then poops on its head, though Gallantmon just laughs instead of being annoyed. As Gallantmon plays with Wanyamon, Dynasmon notices the book Gallantmon had been reading and picks it up — wondering what types of books Gallantmon likes to read. It assumes it was a holy scripture, though is surprised to see it's a book about controlling your anger. Gallantmon explains that as a Virus Digimon, it could turn on Yggdrasil at any time and simply needed the resolve to do so.

Some time later, Dynasmon gives his autograph to Wanyamon and says he's finally free as Wanyamon had previously agreed to leave it alone after it got all of the Royal Knights autographs. Wanyamon points out that it only has twelve of them, and was missing Alphamon's, but Dynasmon says none of the Royal Knights knew where Alphamon was and that it was probably dead or reincarnated as another Digimon. An upset Wanyamon attacks Dynasmon, with it being slammed into a wall. Dynasmon is confused as to how an In-Training Digimon was so powerful, and after Dynasmon gets up — Wanyamon gives its autograph back saying it didn't want it as it as it doesn't have Alphamon's either.
