Vespamon is an Cyborg Digimon and a carrier of the X Antibody. It is a Digimon that is regarded as one of the elite units at the "Royal Base," the mysterious secret honey base in the sky. Compared to CannonBeemon, which protects the base with its large, wide body, Vespamon defends vital facilities using its endless supply of stamina and speed. Vespamon, charged with protecting QueenBeemon, is the highest ranking unit at the base and part of the "Royal Guard," which only accepts the strongest of the strongest. These elite Vespamon are given code names, and they Digivolve into TigerVespamon. Vespamon places a heavy emphasis on cooperation with its allies during battle, and it will not hesitate to sacrifice its life for QueenBeemon or the Royal Base. It has the "Royal Lance", a spear that is shrouded in a beam, and the "Royal Shield".[2]

  • Mach Stinger: Attacks using its Royal Lance.
  • Bee Phalanx: Deploys a hexagonal beam shield from its "Royal Shield" and launches a burst of energy from the "Royal Lance". This is a tactical formation.

Vespamon was first mentioned to exist in TigerVespamon's profile when it was created in 2003. 21 years later, in 2024, it made its proper debut in Digimon Liberator DEBUG.

At some point during Winr and the EX7-047: Tlalocmon deck main scenario NPC's duel, Winr used BT19-084: Winr's effect to put BT19-052: Vespamon from his hand face up at the bottom of his security. This allowed it to use its security effect give all Royal Base Digimon Blocker. DEBUG.2-1 Winr
