Joe and Gomamon are separated and taken away by two groups of villains who are fighting over water. Tai and Agumon go out to search for the two with the help of Nohemon, the guardian of water.
Summary[]
The DigiDestined have stopped for the night while continuing towards FAGA, when Tai and Agumon head out to look for Joe and Gomamon, only to hear their screams and roars before finding a water faucet and its guardian, Nohemon, who reveals that two rival Digimon are vying for control of the water. When they caught Joe and Gomamon, they took them separately back to their lairs to deal with. Nohemon takes Tai to where Joe is, while Agumon goes after Gomamon. However, Tai is nearly caught by a sentry before Nohemon knocks the Goblimon out. Nohemon then explains about how the faucet used to be a normal well until Millenniummon's black lightning turned it into a drinking fountain from Earth, and when Nohemon tried to defend it, he was crippled and unable to use his bow.
With Nohemon's help, the boss of the Goblimon holding Joe captive is revealed to be a Gaossmon on top of a Tyranomon. With Nohemon guiding him on how to use his bow and arrows against the two Digimon brothers, Tai is able to rescue Joe. Meanwhile, Agumon is able to rescue Gomamon from the other boss, revealed to be a Minidekachimon in the mouth of a Atamadekachimon. When both groups return to the fountain, they soon begin clashing with each other, forcing Tai and Joe to have Agumon and Gomamon digivolve to their Champion forms to fight them, with Nohemon being able to take out Tyranomon with Taichi's help while Gaossmon takes out Minidekachimon and Atamadekachimon thanks to Greymon. As a result, Nohemon befriends Tyranomon and ends the squabbling over the water fountain. Tai and Joe later return to Komondomon as the sun rises, being met by Kari and Sora, who wonder where they went overnight.
