The six children and Digimon neutralize the fortress thanks to excellent teamwork. They try to decode the enemy's communication log and obtain new information about the Holy Digimon. However, it's not long before new enemies approach the fortress one after another.
Summary[]
Tokyo's situation continues to worsen as Ogremon checks in with Devimon. Devimon informs Ogremon that he is sending over additional soldiers, angering him.
Tai reads information that indicates the dark forces have captured the Holy Digimon. The DigiDestined puzzle their next steps before deciding that they need to search out their enemy's headquarters. Before they can contemplate further, Ogremon attacks and calls out Greymon to get revenge for losing his horn and regain his honor. As they duel, a swarm of Coredramon attacks. Kabuterimon and Izzy save them but is too exhausted to fight afterward. Instead, Ogremon steps in so that his duel with Greymon remains uninterrupted. Just as a clash of their respective special attacks ends with Greymon's win, MetalTyrannomon interrupts.
As MetalTyrannomon is an Ultimate-level Digimon, it is much stronger than any of the current combatants. Despite working for Devimon, it shows no concern for Ogremon, even stepping on him. Even a powered-up Greymon is unable to faze it. Eventually, Ogremon decides to fight back and punches open a path to where the DigiDestined need to go before dramatically charging at MetalTyrannomon.
