Tai’s party leaves behind the beautiful underwater city and continues their journey toward the Eternal Continent’s center, FAGA. The party swims through the sea caves on Komondomon, but Digimon with powerful, dark energy block their way.
Summary[]
As Komondomon continues underwater to rendezvous with the other DigiDestined, it is soon attacked by Chikurimon and an Ebidramon, which later evolves into a Gusukumon. The evolution causes Gatomon to falter, fearing turning into SkullKnightmon and AxeKnightmon again, but MetalGreymon is able to handle Gosukomon no problem. Meanwhile, Izzy continues to track the ISS after the crew evacuated, and with Mission Control at both Houston in the U.S. and Moscow in Russia unable to stop the space station's reentry, they realize it will hit Tokyo.
Back with Tai and his group, they soon find the source of the dark energy that made Ebidramon evolve, and are attacked by a MarineDevimon. In the battle, Gatomon is affected by miasma and begins to fall back under Millenniummon's influence, summoning a dark projection of AxeKnightmon to attack Greymon, but is halted by Kari, who manages to snap Gatomon out of the miasma's influence and assure her she's here for her. Kari's light allows Gatomon to overcome her fears of evolving into SkullKnightmon and AxeKnightmon again, and evolve into her true Ultimate form of Angewomon. With her true Ultimate form's power, Angewomon destroys MarineDevimon and the shard of Millenniummon with it.
As Komodomon begins to surface, Izzy contacts Tai to let him know he's found a solution to stop the ISS from falling on Tokyo and needs Tai's help to make it happen.
