Mimi and Palmon reach the edge of the Cloud Continent close to the Tanemon's village where Mimi once used to reign. There, they find a Digimon school and meet Babamon, who encourages them to enroll in the trial course.
Summary[]
Mimi and Palmon return to the Cloud Continent and the Tanemon village that Mimi served as queen of previously, only to find a new Digimon school there run by Babamon, with the Tanemon serving as students, and happy to see Mimi again, especially after some of them reveal to have digivolved into Lalamon under Babamon's tutelage. Mimi and Palmon sign up for a three-day trial run, but Babamon quickly proves her strict regiment she has instigated when she changes Mimi's name to "Mimimon" after being unable to pronounce her real name, and unlike the Tanemon, Lalamon, and other students like Tuskmon, Snimon, Coelamon, and Drimogemon, Mimi and Palmon quickly find the regiment very difficult, earning Mimi low marks from a disappointed and annoyed Babamon. Mimi initially intends to quit, but a pep talk from Jijimon about a previous student of Babamon's who digivolved into his Mega form, but then left the school after Babamon was unimpressed by his efforts and tried to help him, convinces Mimi to stay.
The next day, she finds that Tai and Agumon had shown up and enrolled as well, but while the second day proves just as disastrous, on the third day, Mimi manages to hit the target during the target practice, impressing Babamon on her improvement, before the school is attacked by BanchoMamemon, the student who left the school after attaining his Mega digivolution, and his gang of Mamemon and BigMamemon. When Mimi scolds BanchoMamemon for dropping out and gives him a very low score, enraged, he attacks her and Palmon, but it is not long before Mimi and Lillymon's attempts to beat him result in where they find harmony with each other and take Babamon's lessons to heart, resulting in Lillymon digivolving into her Mega form of Rosemon, who is able to defeat BanchoMamemon, using her Forbidden Temptation to quell his rage and when questioned by Babamon, he agrees to return to school and learn how to control his Mega form's power properly like how Rosemon just displayed. Tai and Greymon are able to defeat the Mamemon and BigMamemon with help from Jijimon.
That evening, Babamon presents Palmon with her diploma, while Mimi's Digivice confirms her success with learning the true power of her Crest, which Izzy confirms when he contacts Tai about having received word of it back with the Crest slab at Wisemon's tree. Mimi is grateful to everyone's help with succeeding in her mission with solving the mystery behind the Crest of Sincerity.
