The DigiDestined finally arrive at the Sealed Grounds, FAGA. However, the children must face Machinedramon, the Mega Digimon with tremendous power.
Summary[]
As the DigiDestined finally reach the Sealed Grounds, where FAGA is located, they receive a video message from Leomon and Lopmon, revealing that ElDradimon has made it safely to the Digimon rest stop that Burgermon and Jagamon maintain. As Lopmon tries to warn the DigiDestined of what lies ahead, the transmission is interrupted as the Cloud Continent appears overhead and Vademon intercepts the signal to warn the DigiDestined that their time is up as it summons Machinedramon to deal with them. Explaining that Machinedramon is created from the data of all the evil Digimon the DigiDestined defeated in the past that has been given to Moon=Millenniummon by Sakkakumon, Vademon explains that Moon=Millenniummon wants the DigiDestined to show all their power to it as it wants vengeance on the Chosen Digimon who defeated it in the past. All the DigiDestined's Digimon digivolve to their Ultimate levels to face Machinedramon, while back with ElDradimon, the Digimon at the rest stop are evacuated inside for their own safety as Machinedramon tries to bring down the Cloud Continent.
Machinedramon proves too powerful as it takes down Garudamon, Lillymon, Zudomon, and MegaKabuterimon, absorbing their data to power up its Giga Cannons again. At that point, MetalGreymon Alterous Mode and WereGarurumon Sagittarius Mode digivolve into WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon to face Machinedramon, still aided by MagnaAngemon and Angewomon. WarGreymon is soon overpowered by Machinedramon, but Kari's Crest of Light provides power to him at the cost of Angewomon exhausting herself in the process. At that point, Tai orders Matt to take the rest of the DigiDestined and escape while he and WarGreymon faces Machinedramon alone. Komondomon heads underwater while WarGreymon battles Machinedramon, managing to destroy it, but Vademon sets Machinedramon's power cores to overload, turning its Giga Cannons into a bomb to take down the Cloud Continent, leaving Tai and WarGreymon's fates unknown as the other DigiDestined watch in concern from safety, especially Kari.
