name[]
so other than that cast list (which seems to be run by a fan rather than an official saban thing?) is there anywhere that actually uses this name? a google of it does show some websites like behindthevoiceactors and other wikis using this name, but that wouldnt really count as evidence. seems weird to me that if this is her name, neither this wiki or wikimon use the name on any pages until just now.Marcusbwfc (talk) 01:25, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
- Japanese Wikipedia also uses that name and the Minamoto names and I've seen Japanese fansites using them as well. So, at the very least, Digipedia didn't make them up. If the names are legit, their source might be obscure. I asked Hoko once if he knew, a few years ago, and from what I remember he didn't. I'll have to check again, but I'm pretty sure I would've noted somewhere if we had a potential source for those names.
- I wouldn't be surprised if the names come from closed captions. Kiriha's parents' names are also only mentioned in closed captions while the credits just call them "Kiriha's Father" and "Kiriha's Mother". The biggest problem would be how to check if that's the case, because Japanese home releases rarely have subtitles at all. I'm even surprised some Digimon movies have captioned rental tapes. Anime...
