Is this ever actually parsed as Peace Keeper, with a space? If not, then we should move this to peacekeeper, since it appears to just be a real-world topic. - Errr, I was using the spelling used in the fansub, with translation by Onkei. At the time, I didn't know "peacekeeper" existed as a single word. Also, it didn't occur to me to look up if the missile actually existed, so I made an article because I assumed it was made up. I'm not even sure if I knew missiles had names when I wrote it.
- But, the thing I feel should be brought up, is that the operational range specified in the movie is larger than the one in real life. The movie claims the missile's range is "20000km. Basically the entire Earth", meanwhile Wikipedia claims the Peacekeeper's maximum range is 14000km/8700mi, and the National Museum only states "greater than 6000mi". The movie also claims the top speed is 15000mph, which is the same claim on the National Museum's site, although the movie also claims this speed is Mach 23, which looking up should actually be Mach 20.
- Personally, I kinda feel inclined to treat it as a fictional object named after a real one. In my opinion, the movie's design doesn't seem to match the real life design. Although Japanese Wikipedia does link to the missile's article on their synopsis.
- Alternatively, the missile kinda plays a part in the plot and is even name dropped and described in the movie, and I would compare it with us covering real life locations, like Japan. Unlike cars, which in anime usually have generic designs, and tend to not resemble any specific real life car model, with the Alfa Romeo in Cyber Sleuth being the only exception I can think of. - I agree with G-SANtos in that this item is an important part of the movie and a page dedicated to it isn't necessarily out of scope. It's far more important than a car at least.

- Sorry, a car was not a good example. Something like ENIAC or ECHELON, where we make it clear it's a fictional history of a real-world topic (or at least should).
