Dub name[]

So, Cyber Sleuth uses Omnimon Zwart, but Heroes! already used Omegamon Zwart. According to this, for games we use the most recent dub name. Is that still the rule? Anime... PAAWAA!!! 15:06, February 8, 2016 (UTC)

From what we've seen, Heroes! seems to follow a pattern of using the Japanese names (For example, Gatomon is referred to as Tailmon) so I don't know how reliable it should be considered in regards to official dub names. --Plan. Write. Read. Repeat. (talk) 19:24, February 8, 2016 (UTC)
Unless we have more articles in violation of that consensus than articles in line with it, yeah, it's still the rule. Now activating Project: SPIDERS EVERYWHERE 20:31, February 8, 2016 (UTC)
Plus the only reason Omnimon Zwart wasn't auto-dubbed from the start was because of a semantics rule, even though we have at least one definitive instance of localized names carrying over to related species. Chimera-gui (talk) 21:05, February 8, 2016 (UTC)
I wouldn't call it so much a semantics rule as much as Digimon Heroes! is an official English release, so Omegamon Zwart became a valid localized name, which take precedence over our naming rules. Besides, we yelled at someone else who kept moving NeoVamedemon to NeoMyotismon until the official dub.
By the way, I do support to the move to Omnimon Zwart based on our naming rules because of Cyber Sleuth. Lanate (talk) 00:52, February 9, 2016 (UTC)
