I always thought "Infermon" came from the word "infered." Isn't this true? "Inferno" makes no sense; he isn't a fire element. Gazimon X 01:33, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

Infrared is what you're thinking of, and is simply heat-derived light. "Inferno" actually does not (or originally didn't) mean "fire", it means hell—and considering that Infermon's evolutions are Diablomon and Armageddemon, it's 99% certainly the intended meaning. Now activating Project: SPIDERS EVERYWHERE 02:51, 17 December 2008 (UTC)
I feel like infernal prob makes more sense? the dictionary even states it can also mean diabolical (in addition to hell), which is similar to diablo.Marcusbwfc (talk) 04:51, 29 May 2021 (UTC)
That's just the adjectival form. If it was even necessary to make a distinction between adjective and noun, all the other forms use nouns so it would make sense to prefer the noun. Now activating Project: SPIDERS EVERYWHERE 18:27, 1 June 2021 (UTC)

Diagboromon-Species[]

his is a apocalyptic insectoid Digimon. And they are special Digimon that are affiliated with neither light nor darkness, or no?

If it doesn't have the name nor is officialy listed as part of the species, we don't include it.Now activating Project: SPIDERS EVERYWHERE 16:08, April 25, 2014 (UTC)

Other described attack[]

  • Network Grenade (Cocoon Attack): Charges the opponent with its cocoon form.

Is Network Grenade considered the English dub name?

Probably not. We're checking. Now activating Project: SPIDERS EVERYWHERE 03:01, January 5, 2016 (UTC)
Lanate and I confirmed that Network Grenade is not treated as the same thing as Cocoon Attack. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. Now activating Project: SPIDERS EVERYWHERE 15:11, January 7, 2016 (UTC)
