Etymology[]

For the record, although "takuto" isn't mentioned as a reading for "指揮棒" in Jisho.org, Japanese Wikipedia claims it's in use in some places and every Japanese comment I saw on the protagonists' names specifically spell "指揮棒(タクト)" and "指揮(シキ)" when comparing their names. Can someone help me find a better way to explain this in the etymology section? Anime... PAAWAA!!! 02:17, August 24, 2015 (UTC)

From WWWJDIC:
タクト (n) (1) (abbr) {music} (See 指揮棒) baton (ger: Taktstock); (2) {music} beat (ger: Takt); measure [Edit][ViewDB][FreqCnt][L][G][GI][S][A][W]
I don't think we need to call this an alternate reading, it's a pretty standard word for a baton. Now activating Project: SPIDERS EVERYWHERE 00:03, August 25, 2015 (UTC)

"Exe"-volution[]

New Famitsu article. While it doesn't explicitly state the protagonist is part of "ExE"-volution, the pictures (specially this and this) largely imply, to the point Touya claims it's confirmed. I talked to him about it. Do we want to accept these pictures as confirmation of "ExE"-volution involving the human, and claim so in the Digivolution article, or do we need a video first? Takuto is even in a background that reads "EVOLUTION" in DigiMoji.

If so, do we want to add a section to Takuto and Shiki under Digimon forms talking about it? Do we want to add an Omegamon section to Takuto since we consider WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon canon forms of his Agumon and Gabumon, and screenshots have shown WGmon, MGmon, and Takuto ExE-volving to Omegamon?
If the pictures aren't enough to claim "ExE"-volution involves the human, I believe we'll see a trailer at Jump Festa this weekend, and it might talk about it, so I'm okay if you guys want to wait a video. Anime... PAAWAA!!! 14:29, December 18, 2015 (UTC)
I really want to wait for stronger confirmation. Anything dealing with technical terms like this, it's important we don't accidentally start a fanmyth. Now activating Project: SPIDERS EVERYWHERE 15:10, December 18, 2015 (UTC)
