Okay, we don't use refs where nihongo templates will work anymore, but do we still want to use refs to explain the background of a term? - Also, Crescent Hook seems to be based off of the one legend where a hunter comes across Artemis bathing, and she turns him into a deer so that his hunting dogs see him as prey and rip him apart.
