Surname[]
Who translated her name from the Digimon Series Memorial Book? Is there a scan of that page available? Canuck1990 (talk) 10:08, December 4, 2012 (UTC)
- The page's history shows that Lanate, our chief editor, was the was who moved the page, if he's the one who translated this I don't know. If you are asking for a scan only of that specific page, I don't know where to find it, but you can download the book from the Internet (be aware that by our image policy we need the scanner's permission to upload any scan here). I checked the book, and the only other character to have a listed surname that isn't not mentioned in his series is Kouki Tsubasa. Anime... PAAWAA!!! 10:27, December 4, 2012 (UTC)
- The katakana is given in the book and is the same as listed in the article. A google search picked up Catherine Deneuve, a French actress, whose wikipedia article is titled with that katakana, and so it seemed like an obvious choice for translation. Lanate (talk) 21:01, December 4, 2012 (UTC)

Deneuve[]
According to this site, Catherine was called "Denueve" in something related to Carddass. We now know that this is her surname, but that is an old site. Any idea of where Catherine could have appeared in the card games? Anime... PAAWAA!!! 00:35, October 23, 2015 (UTC)/22:35, October 22, 2015 (Brasília)
Name origin[]
Should we also mention that the actress's surname is written ドヌーヴ in Japanese and that their surnames are only identical when written in Roman letters? Anime... PAAWAA!!! 15:56, June 4, 2016 (UTC)
