Splashmon Darkness Mode 2 is a Digimon. When Splashmon gets wounded and is driven into a corner, it unzips the chucks all over its body and reveals its true form lying within. Those who saw this form, let alone the one who wounded it, are driven to death with its "Tiger Typhoon". However, because its true form is, against its will, simply hideous, it absolutely hates exposing this form.[4]
Attacks
- Tiger Typhoon: Smashes and drowns all of its opponents by generating a massive flood that consumes everything without leaving any refuge.
- Bubble Head (Bead-drown): Instantly gathers trace elements and converts them to liquid around the opponent's head.
Design[]
Splashmon Darkness Mode 2 resembles a monstrous white tiger made out of water with blue stripes, large yellow claws and a huge gaping maw with two rows of large gold-hued teeth. Its emblem, a water drop, appears below its neck.

After Tai, Matt, T.K., Agumon and Garurumon find the castle where Angemon had been held prisoner, Devimon summons a Splashmon Darkness Mode 2 out of a swamp of dark miasma in order to stop them from retrieving Poyomon's Digi-Egg. After Greymon and Garurumon prove to be no match for it with the evil Digimon being able to use the dark miasma to attack them, the two quickly digivolve into MetalGreymon and WereGarurumon. However, the two Ultimates also prove to be no match for Splashmon with it easily blocking their attacks and pinning them down, covering MetalGreymon in dark miasma. By firing their attacks into the ground, MetalGreymon and WereGarurumon are able to free themselves, but Splashmon dissolves itself and reforms behind WereGarurumon, striking him and causing WereGarurumon to dedigivolve back into Gabumon.
Pulling the same trick on MetalGreymon, Splashmon bites into his right arm, further infecting him with the miasma, slams the other Digimon onto the ground several times and begins dragging him into the swamp as MetalGreymon tries desperately to hold onto the ground using his Trident Arm. Tai's determination to free his partner allows MetalGreymon to absorb the miasma covering him and use it to Mode Change into MetalGreymon Alterous Mode. As Alterous Mode, MetalGreymon easily defeats Splashmon and destroys it with his Positron Blaster. The Tide-Turning Update
