SkullKnightmon

SkullKnightmon is an Undead Digimon whose name and design are derived from the mythological undead knight. It is a big brother who exchanged cups of brotherhood with Axemon. As a knight which excels in cunning, its behavior is based on its policy, "Those who are knights must fight. Even more than fighting, they must win", and generally speaking, it puts importance on the outcomes in which it wins. Moreover, it will unabashedly perform any kind of unclean act to arrive at that result. It specializes in combat which capitalizes on the size of its body, and the manner in which it dives at the opponent's chest, swinging its "Spear Needle", shows off the unthinkable actions of a knight that has forgotten its pride.[1]

SkullKnightmon Cavalier Mode

SkullKnightmon Cavalier Mode is an Enhancement Digimon whose name and design are derived from the mythological undead knight. It is the "Assault Mode" (突撃形態 Tougeki Keitai?) in which SkullKnightmon is mounted on Axemon. Its main purpose is for getting close to the opponent by speeding like a bullet, defying all obstacles. After charging at the opponent with its "Kiba Braver", Axemon transforms into SkullKnightmon Mighty Axe Mode to fight joined with SkullKnightmon. If the progress of a battle becomes unfavorable it changes back into "Assault Mode" and hastily retreats from the battlefield. Axemon, who possesses limitless stamina, does not tire, so it can repeat this process without accident, and for a short while Axemon's way of fighting is more feared on the battlefield than SkullKnightmon's.[5]

That battleaxe, larger than an ordinary Digimon's body, exhibits more than enough weight and stiffness to pulverize everything. It can not only be wielded by SkullKnightmon, but can also attack autonomously as a living weapon, displaying its well-coordinated combination.[6]
