ShogunGekomon is an Amphibian Digimon. It is an upgraded version of Gekomon with an antenna resembling the chonmage of a feudal lord. The upgrade is said to have first occurred in a karaoke grading system. It plays a melody from the two horns extending from its shoulders, and its singing voice, which is several octaves below that of Gekomon's, imparts a feeling of a lordly air of superiority (?).[5]
Attacks
- Musical Fist (コブシトーン Kobushi Tone?, lit. "Samurai Tone")[6]: Causes the enemy's configuration data to vibrate using the ultra-low frequency waves from its vocals and horns, destroying them. However, depending on the opponent, their physical condition may end up improving due to the low frequency waves.
- Frog Kick (Horn Howling)
- Symphony Crusher (Crash Symphony): Uses high frequency vibrations to destroy the opponent from the inside.
Design[]
ShogunGekomon takes the form of a red toad/bullfrog that has a hysterical look and a small, pointed tail. It has a pair of moustache-like whiskers, pointed teeth, an antenna with a purple tip resembling the chonmage on its head, and two musical horns extending from its shoulder blades. It has a green leafy ruff around its neck and a yellow stomach with an outie belly button covered by two bandages across it.

Digimon It and PrinceMamemon later team up to help fight the Spiral attacking Primary Village. A One-Track Mind! Kazuma Joins the Party
When Shoutmon, Kamemon, and an Otamamon want to find more Digimon for their band, they convince a Gekomon to join them – however its master, ShogunGekomon, refuses to allow it to join as it is part of its chorus. Shoutmon and ShogunGekomon come to the agreement to have a music battle, if Shoutmon wins then the Gekomon can join its band – however if ShogunGekomon wins, Shoutmon has to join ShogunGekomon's chorus instead. After a long fought music battle, Shoutmon wins and ShogunGekomon allows Gekomon to join the band with ShogunGekomon joining as well.
The group practice in a open field, waking up a SuperStarmon which proceeds to angrily attack them, though it ends up joining the band as a dancer when it thinks Shoutmon's attacks look cool. Etemon then asks to join the band, and though Shoutmon agrees, the others aren't thrilled about the idea due to Etemon's reputation which pisses off Etemon. Their objections are proven just when Etemon explains it was going to force them all to work off their butts for it and force itself as leader. Another music battle ensues between Shoutmon and Etemon, with the winner getting to be the leader of the band and as Shoutmon starts to win the battle Etemon signals its Gazimon minions to attack Shoutmon and, unseen by everyone else, they paralyze it with their "Electric Stun Blast" attacks. As Etemon boasts that it's going to win, Kamemon and Otamamon run in to support Shoutmon with the power of their friendship reenergizing Shoutmon. The rest of the band follow SuperStarmon as it had realised what Etemon had done and as Etemon realises that is is once again about to lose it tries to have the Gazimon stun the trio but they are unable to do so due to SuperStarmon and the others beating them up. The music battle continues and Shoutmon and his band are victorious. Etemon attempts to leave the stage with its tail between its legs however Shoutmon, to the shock of Etemon, still invites it to join the band. The band then puts on concerts all over the Digital World and are able to achieve Shoutmon's goal of making rock 'n' roll resonate within the hearts of minds of other Digimon. Burn It Up!
