Its nickname is the "Sleeping Tyrant". The two horns on its shoulders and topknot on its head symbolize its dignity, so if either were tampered with, it would consider it an insult. It was originally born from a computerized scoring system used in karaoke. Its singing voice can be manipulated scale-wise by its two horns, which also act as brass instruments. Its voice is far lower than a Gekomon's, making him the samurai lord of all Gekomon. There are two tape strips across its belly, where it indicates ShogunGekomon has an outie navel (belly button). It also has two claw-like whiskers. ShogunGekomon takes the form of a toad/bullfrog, and still retains a crazed look. ShogunGekomon notably has much more strength and muscles than the spindly Gekomon, and you can see its veins bulging out. It rules over all the Gekomon and Otamamon in a swamp.

ShogunGekomon is an Amphibian Digimon. It is an upgraded version of Gekomon with an antenna resembling the chonmage of a feudal lord. The upgrade is said to have first occurred in a karaoke grading system. It plays a melody from the two horns extending from its shoulders, and its singing voice, which is several octaves below that of Gekomon's, imparts a feeling of a lordly air of superiority (?).[5]

Attacks

  • Musical Fist (コブシトーン Kobushi Tone?, lit. "Samurai Tone")[6]: Causes the enemy's configuration data to vibrate using the ultra-low frequency waves from its vocals and horns, destroying them. However, depending on the opponent, their physical condition may end up improving due to the low frequency waves.
  • Frog Kick (Horn Howling)
  • Symphony Crusher (Crash Symphony): Uses high frequency vibrations to destroy the opponent from the inside.

Design

ShogunGekomon takes the form of a red toad/bullfrog that has a crazed look and a small tail. It has a pair of mustache-like whiskers, pointed teeth, an antenna with a purple tip resembling the chonmage on its head, and two horns extending from its shoulder blades. It has a green leafy ruff around its neck and a yellow underbelly with an outie navel covered by two tape strips across it.
