Description
ShineGreymon temporarily evolved into this form through Burst Evolution, in which his power and abilities are at their limit. His aura is a Sun-level high-energy flame. [1]

- Final Shining Burst: in which he uses every bit of his power to cause a great explosion.
- Corona Blaze Sword: in which he combines his flame shield and sword into a new sword with tremendously increased power.
- Torrid Weiss: where he repeatedly fires scorching hot flame-bullets.
- Blaze Chain: where he makes his sword and shield into a chain and wraps it around the enemy and throws daimon to punch them.

Digimon Savers
Masaru's "Dark-DigiSoul" forced ShineGreymon to Mode Change to a false and corrupted version of ShineGreymon's Burst Mode during it's battle with MirageGaogamon. It went out of control until it regressed back to a Digi-Egg. When the Digi-Egg hatched, Koromon appeared and Digivolved into Agumon. They join the battle with the other DATS team and digivolve in ShineGreymon. While battling Belphemon Kurata appears from Belphemon's chest. Belphemon is able to beat all the DATS Digimon and swallows the Digi-bombs that Kurata created. This causes Belphemon to grow even more powerful and bigger, and beats the DATS Digimon again. Masaru is able to activate Burst Mode and ShineGreymon digivolves to Shinegreymon Burst mode, with this mode change he is able to defend all his friends and defeats Belphemon.
During episode 40 when the DATS team first encounter the Royal Knights, ShineGreymon is battling with Craniummon and is losing, almost getting killed, but due to Masaru's action is able to Digivolve to his burst mode. Unfortunately upon the rest of the Royal Knights appearance, Gallantmon is able to defeat ShineGreymon Burst Mode and the other Mega Digimon with one attack.

ShineGreymon False Burst Mode

Description
This incarnation of ShineGreymon was a result of Masaru's negative emotion. Though this monster does resemble a virus-like form of ShineGreymon's Burst Mode, it was never given a name. For the sake of this Digimon having a name, we have decided to list him as "ShineGreymon False Burst Mode" until an official name is given. [3]
