Fiction[]
In 1970, 50 years in the past (thousands of years in alternate world time), Renamon became the partner of Miyuki Minase.
One day, Miyuki, Renamon, Akiharu "Haru" Minase, and Gabumon are attacked by a group of Kenzoku. Miyuki is able to keep her brother safe by sending him back to the human world with the song of the Minase Maiden and awaits in the alternate world for him to return.
At some point, Master steals half of Miyuki's soul which causes her to be unable to age and struggle to talk to others. Renamon is able to keep Miyuki safe, though wanting to help her keep her sanity, uses his powers to make himself appear as Akiharu and refers to himself using Akhiharu's nickname, Haru (ハル?). He does this for over fifty years (thousands of years in alternate world time) and does it for so long that Miyuki forgets about Renamon's existence.
When the children are summoned to the alternate world, they come across Miyuki and Haru in the school. The duo join the children's group, and join them in their efforts in looking to return to the human world.
When the group, sans Shuuji Kayama, come to the conclusion they need to talk to the kidnappers to find out more information about the World since they're the ones who are sacrificing children — they figure out the enemy base is passed the waterway. As they travel there, Arukenimon follows them unnoticed. As she stalks them, she sees Shuuji bullying his partner — Lopmon — and finding that to be interesting, comes up with a plan to use it to her advantage.
As the group travel through the waterway, Arukenimon is eventually discovered by Falcomon. She plays coy and asks them why they were there, pretending she had been there the entire time. She threatens to kill them, though rather than fight them — since she was outnumbered — she creates a thick gas which knocks the entire group out. She splits them all up into different parts of the waterway. Haru and Miyuki Minase find themselves alone, though Renamon protects them. She comes across Takuma, though Renamon is able to run away before he can question it.
A few days later, the children once again go through the waterway again, still hoping they could go with their plan of getting information from their enemies. As they walk through the waterway, they run into no enemies until they come across Arukenimon. This saved Arukenimon time, since she was just about to go and attack the children herself. Takuma tries to get information of her, though she remembers this was her last chance and refuses to budge — leading to a battle. This was only a rouse though, since her true plan was to kidnap Miyuki. During the fight, some of her Dokugumon minions attack Miyuki — though the Professor runs in to save her. After the children defeat her, they tell her to retreat stating that if she does they'll allow her to live. Arukenimon laughs and summons more minions, with the newer minions able to kidnap Miyuki. She then flees with the freshly kidnapped Miyuki. Renamon chases after her and is able to murder all of Arukenimon's Dokugumon minions, which the other children use as way to find them by following the corpse trail. Though Renamon was able to kill the Dokugumon, he was no match for Arukenimon on its own. Takuma and his friends charge in to help and once again defeat her, this time with the help of Renamon. They are able to get Miyuki back and once again ask Arukenimon for information, though she refuses to tell them anything. Piedmon, who had been watching the events from afar, is finally sick of her failures and proceeds to murder her in front of the children. Piedmon is able to kidnap Miyuki himself, and leaves with her so that he can take her to Master. Renamon, refusing to accept help from the children, chases after Miyuki despite being injured.
Renamon searches for Miyuki but is unable to find her. The other children are able to do so and defeat Piedmon, with the resultant actions afterwards causing Piedmon, Takuma, Agumon, and Miyuki to be sent to the human World for 10 days.
When Takuma and the others return to the alternate world, Renamon sees him in the forest and decides to follow him unseen. When Miyuki, mind controlled by the Master, arrives at the school and sends a group of Kenzoku to try and kill the children they defeat them. Master prepares to attack as Miyuki herself, though as Takuma wallows in despair about the fact that Miyuki was now evil, the Professor begs the group not to attack her. Renamon then runs in and tries to reason with her though fails as Master's control was too strong. Renamon had managed to stir something up within Master's heart and to make sure he couldn't cause the grasp over Miyuki to weaken, it attacks and easily defeats Renamon. Before it can kill Renamon, the Professor runs in the way stating that he would rather die than see Master kill those who had supported Miyuki. This causes Master to lose its control with Miyuki regaining control of her body. Master and Miyuki begin to fight over control of her body with Master eventually winning out. Not wanting the others to cause her to regain control again, Master retreats. The children try to heal Renamon, though it refuses their help since it was their fault this entire situation had happened in the first place.
Renamon is able to track down Master and offers to help Master by bringing it sacrifices in exchange for Miyuki. Surprised by this offer, Master agrees to give Miyuki back upon the resolution of its wish with Renamon now working as one of Master's minions.

Renamon, disguised as Haru is spotted by Aoi Shibuya, Kaito Shinonome, Dracmon, and Labramon in the forest. The four are shocked to see Haru, and chase him to the library without telling the others since they didn't want to lose track of him. This was a trap, with Kenzoku inside it. |

Renamon, disguised as Haru, approaches Kaito and Dracmon in the forest. He tells them to come with him so that they could work together to get revenge on Master for Miu Shinonome's death, and takes them to the library. This was a trap, with Kenzoku inside it. |

Renamon, disguised as Haru, is spotted by Aoi, Kaito, and Labramon in the forest. Aoi, shocked to see him still alive, chases after him and follows him to the library, not wanting to see another friend die as Saki Kimishima had been killed the day before by a group of Kenzoku. This was a trap, with Kenzoku inside it. |

The other children try to go the library to save their friend, though Renamon and a group of Kenzoku intercepts them. Renamon evolves to Kyubimon to fight them, though he and the Kenzoku are defeated. After the battle, Renamon states he is the only one allowed to protect Miyuki and tells the others they should go to the library to save their friend. The group wonder why the Kenzoku hadn't already killed them, and realize that Renamon was luring them there too so that they could all be killed by them. The Kenzoku try to kill the children by pretending to be their friends and luring them into the fog, though Takuma is able to figure out they're fakes and defeat them. |

After Takuma saves Minoru and Falcomon, Renamon confronts them and tells them the true about itself and Akiharu Minase. As the group try to reason with Renamon, it refuses to co-operate and tells the children to die. The others, who had overheard the conversation, charge in and attack Renamon with the intent to kill — wanting to get revenge on Renamon for showing them evil visions. Renamon warp evolves to Taomon, though it is the Kenzoku are still defeated. |

After Takuma saves everyone with the exception of Kaito, Renamon confronts them and tells them the true about itself and Akiharu Minase. As the group try to reason with Renamon, it refuses to co-operate and tells the children to die. Kaito, who had overheard the conversation, charges in and has Dracmon attack Renamon with the intent to kill — wanting to get revenge on Renamon for Miu's death (harmonious)/showing him evil visions (wrathful). Renamon warp evolves to Taomon, though it is the Kenzoku are still defeated. In the harmonious route (but not the wrathful), Kaito tries to kill Renamon again, though Akiharu is able to talk him out of it. |

Akiharu is able convince Renamon to join their side by pointing out that the Master is probably lying and Miyuki would be upset if she knew what Renamon had been doing. Master, disappointed at losing Renamon, suddenly appears and summons a group of Kenzoku to kill everyone whilst admitting that it had indeed been lying about ever giving Miyuki back. Renamon's voice is able to call out to Miyuki, who temporarily regains control. Renamon's desire causes it to warp evolve to Sakuyamon. It then defeats the Kenzoku, with the help of the children, though Master escapes before they can do anything to him. |

As a result of turning on Piedmon, Garurumon is attacked by Piedmon's minions. He is able to escape, and when the humans are taking pictures together at the school to remember their time together, Garurumon walks in covered in wounds. As Akiharu worries about him, Garurumon tells them to flee as Piedmon's minions were chasing him. The group try and convince Garurumon to escape with them, though multiple Puppetmon arrive as their conversation ended up being too long. The Puppetmon are excited they get to kill more than just Garurumon and refuse to believe Garurumon when he says it was Master who killed Piedmon not the kids. The Puppetmon ask Garurumon to re-join them and kill the kids, though he refuses and evolves to Weregarurumon. He struggles in the battle, which leads Akiharu to stand in the way of him to take the blow instead. As Akiharu tells him how much he cares about him and that he wants them to be friends again, WereGarurumon finally accepts him as he realizes he was the same Akiharu he always was. He realizes that Akiharu had never abandoned him and his renewed bond with him causes him to evolve to MetalGarurumon with MetalGarurumon happy that he finally was strong enough to protect his partner. They defeat piedmon's minions, who proceed to retreat. He devolves to Gabumon, with Akiharu crying in happiness since seeing Gabumon's face brought back so many memories. When they go to the shrine to fight Master, they realize they can't get in and Renamon mentions he always just followed Master's minions when they used a magatama to get in. The group come to the conclusion they need to track down his minions to get it and end up finding them easily since they were near the shrine. A Puppetmon summons some Kenzoku, though he and the Kenzoku are defeated easily due to Puppetmon's previous wounds. Rather than kill them, Renamon offers Puppetmon a deal for him to give them the magatama amd if he does, they'll let them live. Puppetmon tells them he doesn't have it though, with the children still allowing him to live. They find another Puppetmon, though end up fighting it since Minoru was unable to convince it to just hand it over. They defeat this Puppetmon and his minions, and are able to retrieve the magatama. They reach the bottom of the shrine, and find the Master possessed Miyuki. As Ahikaru and Renamon call out to Miyuki, she begins to regain control of her booy though it doesn't last long as Master's power is too strong. Master summons a group of 3rd Class Kenzoku and has them fuse with Miyuki's body to create a Miyuki (Kenzoku). Now with a powerful body, Master uses this new form to fight the humans. Just as he was about to kill them all, Ahikaru is able to get through to Miyuki which puts a stop to the attacks with Miyuki realizing that he, not Renamon disguised as Haru, was her real brother. This doesn't last long though, as Master is able to regain control. Renamon, in his true form rather than as Haru, is also able to get through to Miyuki, with Ahikaru and Renamon's combined efforts snapping her out of the brainwashing. Master spawns a giant hand to try and get Miyuki away from them, with Akiharu fighting the hand itself to try and stop it. Just as it was about to kill Akiharu, Renamon dives in the way of the attack and takes the blow instead with him dying from his wounds. Miyuki's shock at seeing Renamon die allows Master to retake control. Akiharu, Takuma and the others are shocked with Agumon and Gabumon telling them not to give up. Takuma and Akiharu's desires to save Miyuki cause both of their partners emotions to become linked. As they realize they don't currently have the power to win, they end up fusing together into Omegamon which allows them to defeat and free Miyuki. Miyuki begs Renamon not die, though he dies with a smile on his face since he got to save Miyuki and tells her to live alongside the real Akiharu instead of the fake version he was pretending to be. Miyuki's tears merge with the scattered data of Renamon's remains, causing them to merge together into an egg. Happy that Renamon hadn't truly died, Miyuki, Haru, and Gabumon say they will wait for the day Renamon is able to hatch since Renamon had waited so long for Miyuki. They tell Miyuki to open a gate to the Human World, though she tells them she can't do that since she can only do that in the Master's domain. This causes the group to realize they would have to defeat Master after all. Miyuki also explains they needed to defeat him anyway, since he'll destroy both worlds otherwise. Desiring to kill them all, Master summons the group to him though they end up split up. Takuma and Agumon reunite with Miyuki, Akiharu, and Gabumon though the group are attacked by a group of Kenzoku pretending to be Miyuki and Akiharu's shadows. Unlike previous times, Akiharu and Miyuki are able to snap out of the visions themselves which pisses off the Kenzoku and causes them to attack. Miyuki having been able to snap out of it on her own causes Renamon to hatch from his egg. Renamon, figuring that since Miyuki had the others, decides that he isn't needed any more though Miyuki lets him know this isn't the case and that she cares about him. This causes Renamon to warp evolve to Sakuyamon with him joining the battle alongside Agumon and Garurumon. They defeat the Kenzoku, and find their friends also confronted by fake Kenzoku versions of themselves. They watch as they snap out of the visions by themselves, then help them defeat the Kenzoku. After they are all defeated, Master appears before the humans. As they fight, Master summons a group of Kenzoku and then absorbs them with this fully healing him and making him even more powerful. Takuma counters by giving his friends pep talks, which fully heals them and makes them more powerful as well whilst Miyuki sings the song of the Minase Maiden to weaken Master, with this also opening the gate to the Human World. During the battle, Master is able to take over Miyuki again though everyone hears the voices of other humans and learn that someone had recorded a video of Agumon fighting Piedmon. So many humans having watched the video causes all of the partner Kemonogami to power up, and also weakens Master even more. They are finally able to defeat Master, with his death freeing all the souls of those who he absorbed so they could finally move on to the afterlife. Master dies, though like Renamon before he turns into an egg. Unlike Renamon, Master was able to communicate through his egg and laughs, stating he will never fade. He tells them that he still has to sacrifice children to save the World, though they tell him that if the World has to be saved by sacrificing children they would rather the world be destroyed. Akiharu theorizes that if more people believe in the alternate world and the Kemonogami it would give power to it and allow it to survive which the children choose to believe. They try to take their partners with them to the Human World so that they could show them off and have people believe in them, though the partners refuse since they don't feel the time is right and instead force them to leave them behind. They all say goodbye to each other, with the Humans returning to their own World. |
This happens in the harmonious route. |
After the battle, the group notice Kaito was missing, and try to find him. Kaito had left the group, as he considered them allowing Renamon to join to be unacceptable after Renamon had shown him fake visions of Miu. When the group find Kaito, he is with Boltboutamon, with the group having found footprints allowing them to find where Kaito was. He tells them what had happened since they split up, with the others shocked that he would not only team up with Piedmon but sacrifice Dracmon to create Boltboutamon (with Piedmon and Dracmon fusing to become him). He tells them he will use Boltboutamon's power to destroy both the alternate world and human world in revenge for Miu's death. He tells Boltboutamon to kill everyone, starting with the children and then Miyuki, and then Master. The children point out that if he kills Miyuki then he wont be able to get home, though he doesn't care since both worlds will be destroyed anyway and has Boltboutamon attack his former allies. The children are no match for Boltboutamon, with Kaito laughing at how weak they are. Takuma tries to talk him down, telling him that this isn't what Miu would want only for Kaito to state that as her brother he knows what she wants. He assumes that Takuma was in love with her, which is why he was claiming to know her better than him, which pisses him off since that just made him the same as the stalker Kaito had previously nearly killed in the past. Deciding to do the same to Takuma, he attacks Takuma with his own fists. As he beats up Takuma, he suddenly notices Master was watching the fight, which causes both him and Boltboutamon to chase after it — sparing the kids for now. They chase after Master all the way to its hideout, the bottom floor of the shrine. Master summons many Kenzoku in an attempt to save itself but they are all slain by Boltboutamon. Kaito uses Boltbooutmon's power to remove Master from Miyuki, having changed his mind about killing her, though since he still wanted revenge against her so beat her up until she was unconscious. Despite this slight act of mercy, he still plans to end both worlds since he considers them pointless due to the lake of Miu. He sends Boltboutamon to try and kill them again, though this time they are able to defeat him. After the battle, Aoi tells him to honor Miu's memory by protecting Jijimon and the others as that was what she was trying to do when she died. Kaito realizes that she was right and that had he destroyed both worlds, Jijimon and the others would've died which is something Miu didn't want to happen. The others invite him back to the group despite everything he had done, though after he accepts and returns to the group, Boltboutamon turns on Kaito and kidnaps Miyuki. As it was wanting to destroy the world that caused Boltboutamon's existence to happen, no longer desiring this caused Kaito's bond to Boltboutamon to end — which allowed Piedmon's mind to take over the fusion (as Dracmon's was the one controlling it until that very moment). Desiring to access Miyuki's power to open gates to the human world, Boltboutamon begins to absorb her to do so though the Professor and Kaito charge in and attack him in an attempt to stall him and allow Miyuki to escape. This fails though, as Boltboutamon simply absorbs all three of them, killing them all. This also causes Renamon and Garurumon to die as well, as they were the destined partners of Miyuki and the Professor. |
This happens in the wrathful route. |
After the battle, the group notice Aoi was missing, and try to find her. As Piedmon suffers from his wounds from the previous battles, he winds up coming across Aoi and Labramon in the forest. Aoi, who's mental health had taken a turn for the worst having seeing Saki Kimishima die, had decided she never wanted to see anyone ever die again, or get hurt, and so, despite him being their enemy, and Labramon pointing out it's a bad idea, Aoi tells Labramon to heal Piedmon. She tries to get Piedmon to join their side as she wanted everyone in the entire world to be friends so that no one would ever fight again, however he turns her down and strangles her. As her life begins to fade, Labramon tries to heal her but Piedmon attacks Labramon and beats her so badly she ends up near to death as well. The other children arrive, as they had been looking for them, and see the duo on the brink of death. They try to help their dying friends, though Piedmon attacks them to stop them. They beat Piedmon up so badly that he falls on the verge of death too, and laughs as even though he will die he still won as he got to take Aoi and Labramon with him. Aoi's desire to live causes a dark energy to form between her and Labramon, with the dark energy forcing Labramon to be absorbed into Aoi. This causes Aoi and Labramon to become Plutomon, who, desiring revenge against Piedmon, brutally murders him. She then claims that she could sense Saki, and that Saki told her to to save the world. Aoi, now with the power of Plutomon, decides she would take over and rule the world so that she would use her powers to bring peace and harmony to the world, and would kill anyone who would try to stop her. She casts away her humanity and decides she is now Plutomon. Having already fused with Labramon, Plutomon decides she needs to fuse with every living being so that they can all become one and live in peace and harmony together as one being and figures the best way to do that would be to absorb Master since he had the power to absorb others so if she absorbed him, she could absorb everyone else as well. As this wasn't good for the children, they realize they had no choice but to stop Aoi and fight her. Plutomon proves to be too strong for them though, as she defeats them easily in only one attack. She claims she went easy on them, since it was only their first offence, and gives them another chance to join her stating that she would not accept them if they make another mistake and would kill them if they refused. The group, scared of what Aoi had become, say nothing as they were speechless. Plutomon assumes this meant they had agreed to join with her and leaves to find Master so she can start the process. She goes to the shrine, where Master rests, and blows the locked door open to get to him. Master summons Kenzoku to try and stop her, though she absorbs them all. She realizes that Master had absorbed the souls of Saki, Shuuji, and Ryo, and so if she absorbed Master they'd all get to be together again just like before. The others try to tell her to stop and to come back to the human world with them, with Plutomon misunderstanding and assuming they wanted her to fuse with everyone there so they could all be one. This spurs Plutomon on to do just that though after they correct her she attacks them so they can't stop her plan with the intention to fuse with them so they could be together forever. The children are able to defeat Plutomon, after which Kaito tries to kill her to stop her plan though the others talk him down to give her the chance to change back. She refuses to do so though, stating that if she did more of her friends would die. Realizing they have no choice, the group prepare to kill her though are shocked as Renamon suddenly ceases to exist with everyone learning that Miyuki had just died with Master having taken in the last of her soul. |
This happens in the truthful route. |
Renamon was able to find Ebonwumon in the waterway shrine, and had a group of Kenzoku attack him. Renamon would leave the shrine, with the children ending up coming across him in his Haru disguise. Haru takes the children into the shrine where they find Ebonwumon fighting the large group of Kenzoku. As the children freak out, Haru reveals his true form as Renamon and that he was actually a Kemonogami the entire time, and was Miyuki's partner. Having a hatred of the Professor, the real Haru, Renamon attacks him in revenge for leaving Miyuki behind 50 years in the past with the children shocked at this revelation. Renamon tries to offer the Professor as a sacrifice to the Kenzoku, hoping it will power them up enough to defeat Ebonwumon, though the children attack Renamon to stop him. Renamon warp evolves to Taomon and tries to defeat the children alongside a group of Kenzoku, though they are unable to win. After losing to the children, they tell Taomon that they want to save Miyuki too with the Professor telling him that he wont take Miyuki away from him. Before Taomon can react, Ebonwumon confronts the group having killed off all the Kenzoku that were attacking him. He assumes the children were the ones who had brought the Kenzoku and attacks them, with Taomon giving them advice on how to defeat him. Their attacks do nothing due to Ebonwumon's barrier, though Taomon, who was now fully back on the human's side, ends up talking Ebonwumon into dispelling the barrier. This came at the expense of making Ebonwumon even more powerful but allowed their attacks to get through. The group defeat Ebonwumon, who tries to continue fighting, though Genbu Ghost arrives, surprised that someone could defeat Ebonwumon. They tell them about Master having taken over Miyuki and, having been impressed with their power, agree to help them. They give Floramon the ability to evolve to Ebonwumon so they could use its power to defeat Master. They then teleport them out of the shrine. After the battle they ask Renamon why he tried to trick them, though after he says he was just trying to save Miyuki they forgive him with Kaito stating that he better not betray them again. Renamon joins in the others in the waterway in an attempt to find the third Sovereign Monster. Whilst looking around they find Garurumon attacked by Piedmon's minions, who were trying to kill Garurumon in revenge for Garurumon helping them to kill Piedmon. After the group see Garurumon with Akiharu and Takuma, they assume he was trying to kill them again though they tell them the Garurumon had joined their side as Akiharu's partner. They are surprised, though happy at gaining such a powerful ally. Still with no clue where to find the member of the Four Soverign Monsters, who's shrine was supposed to be nearby, Garurumon states he is pretty sure he knows where it is and has them follow him though on the way they end up seeing Piedmon's minions everywhere with most of the group acting as decoys to try and get them away from the shrine with only Takuma, Garurumon, and Akiharu going into the shrine. Garurumon, as the newly evolved MetalGarurumon, is able to single handedly defeat Azulongmon — giving the children their third Sovereign Monster power. Suzaku Ghost is able to sense that the humans had gained the power of the other three members of the Four Sovereign Monsters, and with his shrine being under the school the children lived in, leaves the shrine and go to the school. His power is limited due to no longer being in the shrine though, despite how close he was, meaning he could not communicate with them. Instead he starts haunting them and as they get more and more scared, he mind controls their partners and has them go to the gym where they then vanish. Takuma is able to find the entrance to the shrine through a well by using his phone in the gym. The group go to the bottom of the well, which caves in on them as they reach the bottom. They wind up falling into the shrine where they are reunited with their partners, though they are unable to hear them. Zhuqiaomon confronts the group, angry that they would refer to the Kemonogami as their partners. They tell him about how they want to defeat Master and save the World, though Zhuqiaomon doubts their abilities since they were just children and the Sovereign Monsters had failed before. They beg for him to release their partners, which just pisses him off even more assuming they just wanted to use them as tools. Zhuqiaomon commands their partners to kill them, with them attacking their partners, though the humans are eventually able to snap them out of it. Zhuqiaomon is surprised to see this and admits their bonds are strong, but still doesn't understand why they would be friends with humans when they will just betray them one day. After being defeated by the humans, it is surprised with Suzaku Ghost appearing and stating that humans had managed to make a new fate for the world during the last one thousand years. Reunited with his partner for the first time in nearly one thousand years, Zhuqiaomon is shocked, and Suzaku Ghost asks him to help the humans. He agrees, stating that they shouldn't be punished due to the actions of his partner since they had nothing to do with his crimes. He gives Falcomon the power to evolve to Zhuqiaomon so that they use his power to defeat master, and them teleports them out of the shrine. When the group arrive at the shrine to defeat Master once and for all, Master sends multiple large groups of Kenzoku to attack them but are able to beat them all allowing them to get to Master. Haruchika's four ghost friends confront Master, telling him that thousands of years had passed in the human world and as such those he wishes to get revenge on had already died. Master didn't care though, and still wanted to destroy the world to get revenge. Miyuki begins to resist and tells him he's wrong, which pisses Master off. He summons multiple Kenzoku and orders them to merge with her, though they are defeated before they can do so which allows the group to rescue Miyuki. Pissed off at Miyuki's claims, he summons the entire group and demands to know what she meant and expresses jealousy and confusion that she doesn't hate her brother for abandoning her for so many years like his own sister had as well. She tells him that she was never abandoned, as she was the one who sent Akiharu home, and also tells Haruchika that he wasn't abandoned either. Pissed off at her claims, he attacks the group alongside a group of Kenzoku though the children are able to defeat them with the help of Miyuki, who's Song of the Minase Maiden weakens Master. After being defeated, Master turns back into Fanglongmon though rather than regular it was instead Fanglongmon Ruin Mode. It tries to go through the portal that had opened as a result of Miyuki's song opening it though the group fighting him. As they fight, they all hear the voices of other humans and learn that someone had recorded a video of Agumon fighting Piedmon. So many humans having watched the video causes all of the partner Kemonogami to power up, and also weakens Fanglongmon Ruin Mode. As the battle continues, Yukiha possesses Miyuki and uses her to talk to Haruchika. She takes in some of the dark malice inside Fanglongmon Ruin Mode, which weakens it even further, with this finally allowing the group to defeat him. After his defeat, he reverts back to regular Fanglongmon. Yukiha states that every day after Haruchika was sacrificed she thought of him, and wanted to travel to alternate world as well but couldn't due to her responsibilities of the Minase clan. Upon being reunited with his sister, Haruchika regrets his actions and states that he will leave the world to them and will watch them as they do so, alongside Yukiha. They then leave, leaving the world in the hands of the humans. Master no longer being in charge of the alternate world causes both worlds to merge together once again. Renamon travels to the human world with the others and lives with Miyuki there. |
Other Forms[]
Haru[]
When Miyuki and and her brother Akiharu "Haru" Minase are separated, Renamon uses his powers to make himself appear as Akiharu and refers to himself using Akhiharu's nickname, Haru (ハル?). He does this for over fifty years (thousands of years in alternate world time).
Even after the others find out the truth, Renamon still prefers to present as Haru since he was so used to being in that form. Akiharu allows him to, since he wants Renamon to be happy.

The four are shocked to see Haru, and chase him to the library without telling the others since they didn't want to lose track of him. This was a trap, with Kenzoku inside it. The other children, after learning from Takuma that the four were out in the forest on their own, go to the library after the Professor menitions how dangerous it is, though Renamon and a group of Kenzoku intercept them. When Miyuki Minase is kidnapped and possessed by Master, Renamon comes to an agreement with Master to have it sacrifice the other children in exchange for the return of Miyuki. Renamon, disguised as Haru, is seen by Aoi Shibuya, Kaito Shinonome, and Labramon in the forest. Aoi, shocked to see him still alive, chases after him an follows him to the library, not wanting to see another friend die as Saki Kimishima had been killed the day before by a group of Kenzoku. This was a trap, with Kenzoku inside it. Kaito returns to the school to get the others so that they could all go and rescue them together though when they try to go to the library, Renamon and a group of Kenzoku intercept them. Renamon evolves to Kyubimon to fight them, though he and the Kenzoku are defeated which allows the children to get to the library. |

He lures all the children into the library and has the Kenzoku attack them, though Takuma saves Minoru (Moral)/everyone with the exception of Kaito Shinonome (harmonious/wrathful) who was/were further in the library. Renamon, not wanting them to escape, confronts them and tells them the true about itself and Akiharu Minase. As the group try to reason with Renamon, it refuses to co-operate and tells the children to die. Everyone else (Moral)/Kaito (harmonious/wrathful), who had overheard the conversation, charge/s in and have/s Dracmon/their partners attack Renamon with the intent to kill — wanting to get revenge on Renamon for Miu's death (harmonious)/showing him/them evil visions (moral/wrathful). Renamon warp evolves to Taomon, though he and the Kenzoku are still defeated. |
This happens in the truthful route. |
When Miyuki Minase is kidnapped and possessed by Master, Renamon comes to an agreement with Master to have it sacrifice the other children and also defeat the Four Sovereign Monsters in exchange for the return of Miyuki. |

When Miyuki Minase is kidnapped and possessed by Master, Renamon comes to an agreement with Master to have it sacrifice the other children in exchange for the return of Miyuki. He lures all the children into the library and has the Kenzoku attack them, though Takuma saves most of them. After the children defeat Taomon, it reverts back to Renamon. Akiharu Minase is able to convince Renamon to join their side by pointing out that Master is probably lying about returning Miyuki Minase if he killed all the children, and that Miyuki would be upset if she knew what Renamon had been doing. Master, disappointed at losing Renamon, suddenly appears and summons a group of Kenzoku to kill everyone whilst admitting that it had indeed been lying about ever giving Miyuki back. Renamon's voice is able to call out to Miyuki, who temporarily regains control. Renamon's desire causes him to warp evolve to Sakuyamon. He then defeats the Kenzoku, with the help of the children, though Master escapes before they can do anything to him. |
This happens in the moral route. |
Renamon hatches from his egg (having died taking an attack from Master intending to kill Akiharu "Haru" Minase) to protect Miyuki Minase from the Kenzoku. Seconds after he hatches, he figures that since Miyuki had the others, he wasn't needed any more though Miyuki lets him know this isn't the case and that she cares about him. This causes Renamon to warp evolve to Sakuyamon with him joining the battle alongside Agumon and Garurumon. The trio then defeat the Kenzoku. |
Renamon's Egg[]
This happens in the moral route. |
Renamon's egg is dark yellow with light yellow patterns. After Renamon sacrifices himself to save Akiharu "Haru" Minase from Master's attack, Miyuki begs Renamon not die, though he dies with a smile on his face since he got to save Miyuki and tells her to live alongside the real Akiharu instead of the fake version he was pretending to be. Miyuki's tears merge with the scattered data of Renamon's remains, causing them to merge together into an egg. Happy that Renamon hadn't truly died, Miyuki, Akiharu, and Gabumon decide to wait for the day Renamon is able to hatch since Renamon had waited so long for Miyuki. Miyuki then talks to the egg at various points. When Akiharu and Miyuki are given visions by Kenzoku pretending to be fakes versions of them, unlike previous times, they are able to snap out of the visions themselves which pisses off the Kenzoku and causes them to attack. Miyuki having been able to snap out of it on her own causes Renamon to hatch from his egg, with Renamon wanting to protect Miyuki from the Kenzoku. |
