PawnChessmon (White) is a Puppet Digimon. It was born from data leaking out of a chess game supercomputer. Its power is weak, but it is promoted when it strives for prominence, and it is an ordinary pawn that conceals the mystery that it is said to possess Mega-class power. Its catchphrase is, "I only advance!" It considers its fellows who are striving for prominence ahead of it to be its rivals,[3] among them PawnChessmon (Black).[4]

Attacks

  • Pawn Spear[5]: Stabs with its spear.
  • Pawn Buckler: Charges with its buckler held up.
  • Pawn Lightning: Fires a shockwave with a lightning fast strike.
  • Pawn Charge: Holds a spear and charges the enemy.
  • Pawn Penetrate: A furious charge that can penetrate anything.

Unison Attacks

  • Pyramid Formation: Uses a special formation after procuring rear support from its comrades, allowing it to halt the attacks of even an Ultimate-class Digimon.
  • Storm of Steel (Checkmate Break): Uses a special formation with its comrades and a Knightmon, surrounding them with an aura and then stabbing together at the opponent.

When Arisa Kinosaki looks through her deck to confirm that it had been modified to include Shoemon without her permission, her deck is shown to have a copy of ST19-04: PawnChessmon (White). Shrinking Violet (Part 1)

During Arisa's duel against Violet "Vi" Inboots Arisa digivolves EX7-025: ShoeShoemon to EX7-027: Chaperomon. Chaperomon's On Digivolving effect activates, allowing her to play a lv3 Puppet type Digimon for free — which she uses to play PawnChessmon (White). She uses the effect of her Tamer card ST19-14: Arisa Kinosaki, suspending it to give an effect summoned Digimon or Token the Rush ability — applying it to PawnChessmon (White). PawnChessmon (White) uses its newly gained Rush ability and attacks with this revealing a copy of EX7-070: Der Blitz. Its Security effect activates, deleting the Digimon on Arisa's field with the lowest Play Cost. This destroys PawnChessmon (White). Later in the duel, Arisa uses ST19-09: Pandamon on deletion effect to play another copy of PawnChessmon (White). Violet later pays 7 memory to play EX7-044: Gigadramon, with its On Play effect revealing the top 4 cards of her deck. If one of them is a Three Muskeeters Option Card, she can put it under Gigadramon and then destroy a Digimon on Arisa's field with a play cost of 3 or less. She places an unspecified Option Card under Gigadramon, and uses the effect to delete PawnChessmon (White). Fable Waltz (Part 1) Later in the duel, EX7-013: MagnaKidmon fights a PawnChessmon during a security check with PawnChessmon (White) unable to destroy it due to having lower DP. Shortly afterwards, Arisa plays a copy of EX7-068: Wonder Stomp allowing her to draw a card and play a lv3 Puppet Digimon for free. She uses this to play another copy of PawnChessmon (White). She uses the same combo as before, suspending her Tamer to give it Rush and attack — though it dies to the MagnaKidmon it fights in the security battle. Fable Waltz (Part 2)
