Upon returning to Demon's castle Piemon is absorbed by Arcadiamon, which causes him to digivolve. With Arcadiamon evolved Neo decides that it's time to invade MagnaAngemon's castle. Tai encounters one of Lord MagnaAngemon's spies, Ninjamon, and informs him that Arcadiamon has digivolved to Rookie, along with the planned attack. As Ninjamon leaves, Mari Goutokuji, another member of the Alias III, and her partner, Rosemon, attack Tai. All of Mari's attack continue to backfire on her, but later reveals she has captured Igamon before he had time to warn MagnaAngemon of the attack.
