T.K. and Matt go to search for food. Suddenly, a theme park called Mon-Mon Park appears before them. They are begged by a Digimon to stay and stop by the park. But what awaits them is not a fun, happy place.
As the DigiDestined continue towards FAGA, they stop to rest for a bit. Matt and T.K. decide to go look for food, and stumble through a fog bank to find the Mon-Mon Amusement Park and its mascot, Opossummon. Staying around to enjoy the rides, they soon find a Xiaomon, who reveals that the park is a trap. His cover blown, Opossummon attacks with his balloons, and traps the brothers in another fog bank. T.K. escapes, but Matt is trapped in the haunted house. After T.K. learns the whole story from Xiaomon, he moves to rescue his big brother, but Opossummon is able to use a distraction to capture Xiaomon. This brings forth WaruMonzaemon to attack T.K. and Pegasusmon, who attempt to rescue the Digimon inside him by diving inside, but end up having their energy drained instead.
Matt and WereGarurumon Sagittarius Mode try to help, and Matt's pleas are able to snap T.K. out of it, giving Patamon the hope and energy to once more become Angemon, free the Digimon, and slay WaruMonzaemon and Opossummon. With the Digimon safe, the brothers resume looking for food before rejoining the rest of the DigiDestined.
