Mermaimon is an Aquatic Beast Man Digimon. This Digimon, which takes the form of the mythical Mermaid, is based in seas found in cold regions even in the Digital World. It is good at singing, which is unusual for a Digimon, and does so with a very beautiful timbre, charming those who listen to it. However, because it is greedy and extremely fond of treasure, it charms those with its singing when it feels attracted to the treasure, even if their data (treasure) belongs to other Digimon, and then takes the opportunity to loot from them. For that reason, it is rumored that it hides a vast amount of data somewhere in the Net Ocean, but it loses interest in the data it has looted once it falls into its possession, and discards it.[4]

Digimon Story Lost Evolution
Mermaimon is #199, and is an Ultimate-level, Balance-class, Aquan-species Digimon with a resistance to the Water element and a weakness to the Thunder element. It possesses the Confusion Guard, Item Hunter, and Digimon Professor traits, and has the special skill Dive.
It dwells in the Angler Tunnel. When defeated, it can drop the debug plate for Mermaimon or the Spirit of Water.
Mermaimon digivolves from Hookmon and can digivolve into MarineAngemon or AncientMermaimon. In order to digivolve or degenerate into Mermaimon, your Digimon must be at least level 28 with 115 attack and 90 speed, but only once you have revived Mermaimon.
It can be hatched from the Water DigiEgg.
Digimon Story: Super Xros Wars Blue and Red
Mermaimon DigiFuses from Hookmon, Coelamon, and Ebidramon, and can DigiFuse to MarineAngemon with Piximon and Whamon, or to AncientMermaidmon with Scorpiomon, Whamon, and Coelamon.
