Meicoomon is an Unknown Digimon. Meicoomon is characterized by its large ears and tail. Despite being hard to imagine, based on its fluffy coat of fur and adorable appearance, it actually possesses extremely sharp claws underneath its paws. Other than hiding its shy face, the two feelers growing from Meicoomon's neck are also excellent to use as a scarf during cold times.[5]

Design[]
Meicoomon's design is derived from the Maine Coon. It is a bipedal cat-like creature with orange fur on most of its body, and white on its snout, paws, and inner ears, as well as a white mane. It has many black spots on its head fur. Meicoomon has green eyes with cross-shaped pupils, that turn red with X shaped pupils when threatened. It also has a tail, and two scarf-like appendages on each neck. Both the tail and the scarf-like appendages have multiple black "X" on it, and X-shaped protrusion on its end. It also has white hexagonal crystals with golden borders on its fore legs.

Development[]
Meicoomon was designed to be the opposite of Gatomon, as Ophanimon Falldown Mode was always planned to fuse with Meicoomon to become Ordinemon, so Meicoomon was designed as a cat with long hair, to contrast with Gatomon, who has short hair. She was chosen to be a Maine Coon, as Digimon Adventure tri. director Keitarō Motonaga had one in real life at the time.[6]
