MarineDevimon is a Sea Animal Digimon. It is an aquatic dirty fighter that even Devimon hates to fight, due to its brutal reputation, and though it is a subspecies of Devimon, it completely lacks all emotions but hatred due to its lonely life in the profound ocean depths.[4] For that reason, to ensure that it wins by any means, it won't let up with its attacks even if the opponent loses their fighting spirit. The two big tentacles growing from its back appear large and special, but they each possess their own will, so they will struggle for the catch and act without permission.[5]

Attacks

  • Dark Deluge[6] (Guilty Black): Discharges a venomous ink from its mouth which makes the opponent unable to stand for a while.
  • Evil Wing[7] (しめつけ Shimetsuke?, lit. "Pressure")
  • Neck Hanging

Digimon Survive[]

This only happens if Minoru's affinity reaches 70.

One time, when Falcomon and Minoru Hinata hang out in the deep forest, they are attacked by a MarineDevimon. Takuma Momozuka arrives and sees the battle and leaves to get Agumon so that he can help out in the tough fight. Minoru and Falcomon stall it whilst waiting for Takuma to return though the fight proves to be too difficult for them. Minoru is about to give up, though comes to the realization that he can't just rely on the others and should use his own strength to fight even if he can't call himself a super hero. With Minoru expressing his desire to defeat his enemies no matter what, Falcomon responds by evolving to Varodurumon. It then defeats the MarineDevimon.

This happens in the truthful route.

A MarineDevimon that worked for Piedmon joins the other remaining minions in looking for Garurumon in an attempt to kill him for turning on Piedmon. MarineDevimon and the other various minions look for him but end up finding the children instead. Remembering that they helped Garurumon kill Piedmon they attack the children but end up losing, so retreat.

MarineDevimon evolves from Fangmon and Wendigomon and can evolve to Boltboutamon. If Takuma Momozuka is able to befriend a MarineDevimon and asks it for an item, it will give him a Boost Seed.
