Lopmon is Wu Hai's Partner Digimon.

Fiction

When Wu Hai was 9, he encountered Lopmon who fell into the human world from a crack in the Internet. In order to save the injured Lopmon, Wu Hai bought a D-Zero to crack it by himself and put Lopmon's data into the D-Zero. In order to circumvent the detection system set up by Hyuuga Technology, Wu Hai had to forcibly dismantle all security systems, but this also made Lopmon's data exposed to constant danger. In order to solve this long-standing problem, Wu Hai accepted the invitation of Hyuuga Technology to come to the virtual space. Becoming friends with Lopmon was an unforgettable memory for Wu Hai, which is also the reason why he embarked on the path of researching D-Zero and Digimon.

Wu Hai originally did not agree to join the team because of incompatibility with Satoru Sakamoto, though whenever the team encountered trouble afterwards, Wu Hai and Lopmon came to help. Wu Hai and Lopmon officially joined the team after they were defeated by Satoru and Agumon in the Digital Competition.
