Loogamon is a Dark Animal Digimon and carrier of the X-Antibody. It is presumed to be an experimental "Prototype Digimon" from before Digimon were discovered due to the old-fashioned interface on its forehead. It is said that the deepest part of its DigiCore contains data from the warg of real-world mythology, which can be seen in its capacity for rage beyond that of a typical Rookie. Those who are deceived by its puppylike appearance and approach it without proper caution may find themselves on the receiving end of a vicious attack. Loogamon recognizes those with the ability to control it as its master. Its loyalty is as hard to break as it is to obtain, making it a valuable companion.[3]
