Other Notes[]

Continuity errors

  • Whereas in the preview of this episode the amount of data squirting out of Yuujin after Shutmon bite him was shown to be red, it was altered to blue in the actual episode.

Animation errors

  • In Offmon's imagination of Astra and Musimon on a red carpet, Musimon's arm tattoos are missing.
  • As Sateramon jumps out into space to execute the Cosmic Raider attack, a bird-eye view of the globe is shown with the island of Sakhalin missing.

Real-world references

  • The story of the sun goddess as narrated by Haru may be a reference to Amaterasu, the Japanese goddess of the sun. She was driven into a cave after provocation from her brother, Susanoo. The other gods decided to throw a party outside the cave, leading Amaterasu curious and peeking out of the cave.
  • In Offmon's imagination of Ai becoming a superstar, the latter appears in a costume similar to what Kenji Sawada wore during a live performance of his single TOKIO in 1980.[1][please confirm]

Miscellaneous trivia

  • The eye catch features Shutmon.
