Other Forms[]
Flymon[]
This happens in the Truthful route. |
Flymon is Kunemon's Champion form. When Ryo Tominaga and the others arrive at the amusement park to search for Miu Shinonome, they are confronted by Palmon, Patamon, and Biyomon. The group mention they were looking for Miu, as Arukenimon tried to kidnap her, with the trio misunderstanding and assuming that meant they were looking for her so that they could kidnap her for Arukenimon. Unable to talk them down, the group prepare to attack only for the trio to run away scared — saying they will report back to their queen. As they search the park for Miu, the group are confronted multiple times with multiple fights happening. In one of them, Kunemon tries his best to protect Ryo with Ryo still questioning why he was so determined to protect him. He also questions why the trio were so stubborn in fighting the children so much. He realizes that both Kunemon and the trio were just like him as they crawl on the ground, keep moving, and never give up, with this realization finally having him accept Kunemon as his partner. He stands by Kunemon's side and proudly states that they will show the trio what they are made of. Ryo accepting his partner causes Kunemon to evolve to Flymon, who then defeats the trio alongside his friends. Attacks

JewelBeemon[]
This only happens in the Truthful route if Ryo's affinity reaches 30. |
JewelBeemon is Kunemon's Ultimate form. Unlike Kunemon and Flymon, it is able to talk. When Ryo Tominaga and Kunemon train in the deep forest by placing pebbles in cans, Ryo is attacked by an Ikkakumon. As Kunemon struggles, Ryo says he doesn't have the brains to get them out of it and only has brawn. He runs in front of Kunemon to take the blows for him though Kunemon also does the same thing Ryo just did to try and protect him. Ryo wanting to protect his partner this way causes Kunemon to warp evolve to JewelBeemon, who then defeats Ikkakumon. During the battle, JewelBeemon gained the ability to speak with this causing Ryo to cry tears of toy. Takuma Momozuka shows up and Ryo tries to show him that he can now speak though JewelBeemon reverts to Kunemon before he can prove it with Kunemon not retaining the ability to speak. Attacks

BanchoStingmon[]
This only happens in the Truthful route if Ryo's affinity reaches 70. |
BanchoStingmon is Kunemon's Mega form. Like JewelBeemon, BanchoStingmon is able to talk. When Ryo Tominaga and Kunemon are in the deep forest, Ryo wonders if the group will be able to find the Four Sovereign Monsters to be able to save the world. As he talks about this, he is attacked by a Deramon. As Kunemon struggles, Ryo tells him not to give up though Kunemon tells Ryo to run away and save himself. Ryo refuses to leave and with Kunemon unable to battle any more, Ryo himself takes it into his own hands and decides to fight Deramon. This causes Kunemon to warp evolve to BanchoStingmon, who then defeats Deramon to protect Ryo. Attacks
