Kongoumon is the Armor Digivolved form of Wormmon through the Digi-Egg of Miracles. His name comes from "kongou", the hardest metal in Buddhism. He also has Kongou written on himself in Digicode.

Kongoumon is one of the bosses that Ryo has to fight once he gets either Agumon or Veemon.
Digimon Frontier
The first Kongoumon seen was a restaurant owner in a village near KaratsukiNumemon Mountain who would not accept the DigiDestined's money and threw them out. Another one was seen at the Autumn Leaf Fair who was unable to help Takuya find the Toucanmon and the boys' D-Tectors.
Digimon Data Squad
An injured Kongoumon was seen in the care of Cherrymon and the Nyokimon that he protects.
Digimon Xros Wars
A Kongoumon served as the General of the Bagra Army's Forest Zone Branch and is a servant of Tactimon. He led a group of MegaKabuterimon Blue to attack Taiki. Kongoumon was later knocked out with Kiriha and Nene came into view. Kongoumon led an army of GranKuwagamon to attack Team Xros Heart outside of the ruins. Kongoumon and his GranKuwagamon army were easily decimated by Beelzemon using his meteor cannon mode.
Digimon World DS
Kongoumon digivolves from Stingmon if holding the Digi-Egg of Miracles. Also, a Kongoumon is fought along with a Flamedramon and a Kenkimon in the Arena. It can´t digivolve into any other Digimon.
Digimon World 3
Kongoumon will only appear in the game once you have Patamon or Renamon at lvl. 45 or higher. For Renamon, he will be found in Amaterasu's North Sector, at Kulon Mines' Kulon Pit. For Patamon, he will be found in Amaterasu's North Sector, in the Legendary Gym. Giving him Crystal Rod and Twinkle will make the Immaculate weapon.
Digimon World Dawn/Dusk
There are a bunch in the forest area of Transfield. He can also be obtained by using the Digi-Egg of Miracles on Wormmon.
Attacks
- Power Slapping: Slashes enemies with his vajra.
- Multiple Arm Bombs (Power Gun): Uses his vajra to shoot thunderbolts.
- Power Vajra: Summons spirits to fight for him.
