Digimon Survive[]

The Kenzoku work for Master. They are able to change their appearance to match those of humans and Kemonogami and can even tap into people's memories and display themselves as people/creatures they have no knowledge of outside of stealing said memories to learn of these.

50 years in the past, a group of Kenzoku attack Akiharu Minase, Miyuki Minase, Renamon, and Gabumon. During the battle, Akhiaru is sent back to the human world through a portal. The Kenzoku are then able to kidnap Miyuki, and take her to Master who steals half her soul.

For the next 50 years, other children are sent to the alternate world and are killed by the Kenzoku. The Kenzoku use the fog to suffocate the children, and then crush them them to death with shadowy hands. They also sometimes kill Kemonogami this way as well.

When Fangmon is on the verge of death having been defeated by the children, they witness the Kenzoku crush him to death with their hands after surrounding him in fog.

When Ryo Tominaga falls of the bridge during the fight against Cyclonemon, a Kenzoku surrounds the area with fog and turns into a fake version of his dead mother. At this point, Ryo thought he was in the afterlife and so happily walked over to who he thought was the ghost of his mother.

This happens in the moral, harmonious, and wrathful routes.

The Kenzoku then turns into its real form, grabs Ryo, and brutally murders him. This also causes Kunemon to die, since he was Ryo's partner.

This happens in the truthful route.

The Kenzoku then turns into its real form and grabs Ryo, though Kunemon was able to get to him in time and launch himself into Ryo — with the flying headbutt causing the Kenzoku to drop Ryo. When he gets back up, the other children arrive and see Ryo in front of the Kenzoku. Fearing for his life they all charge at him and knock him over. Having missed the chance to kill Ryo, the Kenzoku disperses the fog and leaves.

This happens in the moral, harmonious, and wrathful routes.

After Lopmon dark evolves to Wendigomon, it begins to eat Shuuji Kayama. The children are able to defeat it before it can finish eating him, however the Kenzoku surround Wendigomon in fog and then murder it. As Shuuji was still inside Wengidomon's mouth at the time, he died alongside his partner.

When Takuma returns to the alternate world, having been sent to the human world for 10 days, he is separated from Miuyki with this separation allowing Master to mind control Miyuki. It uses her to attack the children alongside the Kenzoku over the course of multiple days though is never able to kill any of them. After Takuma fails to find her he returns to his friends and asks about her where abouts only for Master to launch another attack. The children are able to defeat the Kenzoku and the Master eventually retreats.

Master later attacks the amusement park with a group of Kenzoku, with the intention to kill Baihumon as it resided in a shrine under the amusement park with it using its powers to weaken Master (as mentioned in the truthful route). They injure most of the residents, though Jijimon and some of the others were able to escape to the throne room which they then barricade. Unable to get into it to kill Jijimon, Master leaves.

The children arrive shortly afterwards as they wanted to ask Jijimon for help and come across the injured Kemonogami, who tell them what had happened. The children tend to the wounds of most of them, though not all of them are saveable with some dying from their injuries. After the children heal as many as they can, the survivors leave the park and go to a more safe area. The children then go to the throne room, though are also unable to get in. As Kaito Shinonome attempts to break the barricade down, Miu yells out to Jijimon that it was just them and Jijimon opens up a small hole for them to go through.

This happens in the moral, harmonious, and wrathful routes.

They ask Jijimon if he knows how to undo the possession, with him stating that though others also have the ability to possess creatures with said creatures being able to regain their own body if their will was strong enough — it had no idea if it would work the same with Master since it was so powerful. He tells them to keep calling out to her in the hopes she could cast out Master, though states it would only be a temporary solution.

The Kenzoku return to the amusement park with bigger numbers to finish the job.

This happens in the moral route.

Master and the Kenzoku return to the amusement park with greater numbers and are able to break into the throne room. The children fight them, and during the battle Takuma is able to get through to Miyuki for a few seconds by mentioning their promise to save the world and the fact that her brother wont be safe if she destroys it. Wanting to save Miyuki and also the world, Takuma's desire causes Agumon to warp evolve to WarGreymon. The children defeat all the Kenzoku, with Miyuki's body beginning to go out of control. Kaito, Saki, and Minoru decide the time was right to kill her though Takuma and the Professor are able to talk them out of it by mentioning the fact they got through to her briefly that and they don't want anyone else to die, though Kaito only gives them one chance. The duo are able to get through to Miyuki by talking to her, though as she questions if she should return to the group she is taken over by Master again. He spawns a large group of Kenzoku who attack the children, whilst Master attacks Takuma with a sword made of dark energy. Jijimon dives in the way and takes the blow for Takuma, with Takuma trying to run to Jijimon to tend to his wounds and save him. The others drag Takuma out of the room, saving his life, since if they didn't Master most likely would've killed both of them. As the humans flee, Master finishes off Jijimon.

This happens in the harmonious route.

The group are able to fend them off defeat them, allowing Jijimon and the others to escape. After the battle, a Kenzoku pretends to be an injured friend of Miu Shinonome's and calls out for her to help save it. When she runs in to try and save it, it kills her. Miu's death causes Syakomon to cease to exist with Kaito trying to run into the fog after her. The others restrain him and take him away to stop him from dying as well, with Kaito refusing to believe she had died despite Syakomon's death proving it was the case.

This happens in the wrathful route.

The group are able to fend them off defeat them, allowing Jijimon and the others to escape. After the battle, a Kenzoku pretends to be an injured friend of Miu Shinonome's and calls out for help save it. When Aoi Shibuya runs in to try and save it, it attacks her though the others arrive with Agumon warp evolving to Machinedramon to defeat it. As the others turn their attention away from battle, the Kenzoku gets back up having survived. It sees Saki Kimishima, charges at her, and pulls her into the fog. Though Aoi is able to grab Saki's arm and stop her being fully pulled in, Saki lets go of Aoi hand — not wanting Aoi to be pulled in as well and is bruttaly murdered by the Kenzoku. Saki's death causes Floramon to cease to exist with Aoi trying to run into the fog after her. The others restrain her and take her away to stop her from dying as well, with Aoi refusing to believe she had died despite Floramon's death proving it was the case.

Renamon joins Master's side, and teams up with the Kenzoku to try and sacrifice the children.

This happens in the moral route.

They lure Aoi, Labramon, Kaito, Dracmon and to the library and show them fake visions to try and convince them to kill themselves. Renamon and a group of Kenzoku try to stop the others from reaching the library to save him, though are defeated.

This happens in the harmonious route.

They lure Kaito and Dracmon to the library, with Renamon telling them that they could get revenge on Master there for causing his sister's death. When he goes in, the Kenzoku summon a fake version of Miu and have it convince Kaito that he should die so that they can be together again. Renamon and a group of Kenzoku try to stop the others from reaching the library to save him, though are defeated.

This happens in the wrathful route.

They lure Aoi and Labramon to the library and when they goes in, the Kenzoku summon a fake version of Saki and have it convince Aoi that she should die so that she could atone for letting go of Saki's hand, causing her death. Renamon and a group of Kenzoku try to stop the others from reaching the library to save him, though are defeated.

This happens in the moral, harmonious, wrathful routes.

Renamon tells them where they are and states they should go to the library to save them, though the group wonder why the Kenzoku hadn't already killed them, and realize that Renamon was luring them there too so that they could all be killed by them. This is proven to be true when they reach the library, as the Kenzoku kidnap Takuma's friends and summon fake versions of Ryo and Shuuji who try to convince Takuma to kill himself in the fog so that they could be together again. Takuma agrees to do so, though before the Kenzoku can kill him with the fog he is snapped out of it by Agumon. They try this same trick again multiple times by pretending to be his other kidnapped friends, though Takuma is able to figure out they're fakes and defeat them. After saving his friends, Takuma finds the Professor about to give in to the Kenzoku as well though is able to snap him out of it. After Takuma saves Minoru (moral) everyone with the exception of Kaito (harmonious/wrathful), Renamon confronts them and tells them the true about itself and Akiharu Minase. As the group try to reason with Renamon, it refuses to co-operate and tells the children to die.

Everyone else (moral)/Kaito(harmonious/wrathful), who had overheard the conversation, charge/s in and has their partners/Dracmon attack Renamon with the intent to kill — wanting to get revenge on Renamon for Miu's death (harmonious)/showing them/him evil visions (moral/wrathful). Renamon warp evolves to Taomon, though it and the Kenzoku are still defeated. Kaito tries to kill Renamon, though Akiharu is able to talk him out of it (harmonius) and in both routes is able convince Renamon to join their side by pointing out that the Master is probably lying and Miyuki would be upset if she knew what Renamon had been doing. Master, disappointed at losing Renamon, suddenly appears and summons a group of Kenzoku to kill everyone whilst admitting that it had indeed been lying about ever giving Miyuki back. Renamon's voice is able to call out to Miyuki, who temporarily regains control. Renamon's desire causes it to warp evolve to Sakuyamon. It then defeats the Kenzoku, with the help of the children, though Master escapes before they can do anything to him.

This happens in the moral route.

When the humans reach the bottom of the shrine, they find the Master possessed Miyuki. As Ahikaru and Renamon call out to Miyuki, she begins to regain control of her body though it doesn't last long as Master's power is too strong. Master summons a group of 3rd Class Kenzoku and has them fuse with Miyuki's body to create a Miyuki (Kenzoku).

After Omegamon defeats Miyuki (Kenzoku) and frees Miyuki, they tell Miyuki to open a gate to the Human World, though she tells them she can't do that since she can only do that in the Master's domain. This causes the group to realize they would have to defeat Master after all. Miyuki also explains they needed to defeat him anyway, since he'll destroy both worlds otherwise. Desiring to kill them all, Master summons the group to him though they end up split up. Takuma and Agumon reunite with Miyuki, Akiharu, and Gabumon though the group are attacked by a group of Kenzoku pretending to be Miyuki and Akiharu's shadows. Unlike previous times, Akiharu and Miyuki are able to snap out of the visions themselves which pisses off the Kenzoku and causes them to attack. Miyuki having been able to snap out of it on her own causes Renamon to hatch from his egg (as Renamon had died protecting Akiharu from Master). Renamon, figuring that since Miyuki had the others, decides that he isn't needed any more though Miyuki lets him know this isn't the case and that she cares about him. This causes Renamon to warp evolve to Sakuyamon with him joining the battle alongside Agumon and Garurumon. They defeat the Kenzoku, and find their friends also confronted by fake Kenzoku versions of themselves. They watch as they snap out of the visions by themselves, then help them defeat the Kenzoku. After they are all defeated, Master appears before the humans. As they fight, Master summons a group of Kenzoku and then absorbs them with this fully healing him and making him even more powerful.

This happens in the harmonious route.

When the children look for Kaito, a group of Kenzoku attack the children in the mountain pass and at the dam, though their partners defeat them.

Kaito teams up with Piedmon, and has Dracmon fuse with him to form Boltboutamon. He decides to use Boltboutamon to destroy both worlds in revenge for his sister's death and also decides to kill Master as part of this revenge plot. They chase after Master all the way to its hideout, the bottom floor of the shrine, with Master summoning many Kenzoku in an attempt to save itself but they are all slain by Boltboutamon.

This happens in the wrathful route.

When the children look for Aoi, a group of Kenzoku attack the children in the mountain pass and at the dam, though their partners defeat them.

When Plutomon attacks Master in an attempt to fuse with him so she could absorb all living beings and have everyone become one Master summons the Kenzoku to try and stop her. Plutomon absorbs them all though, making them all extinct.

This happens in the truthful route.

The Kenzoku attack the barrier, with Miu Shinonome remembering about the trap door that leads to the prison. She opens it, and Jijimon and the others go into it to flee. As the Kenzoku manage to break in, Saki and Miu are the only ones left behind with one of them about to kill Saki. Ryo is able to get her out of the way of the hands and save her life, with the entire group able to escape to the prison. They find a secret exit that even Jijimon wasn't aware of. Upon going in, they find a large group of Kenzoku corpses. As they wonder who killed them, the group are attacked by another group of Kenzoku though as they fight them Baihumon appears and kills them all with the group having stumbled upon its resting place.

When the children look for the other shrines to get the power of the other members of the Four Sovereign Monsters, a Kenzoku uses its powers to pretend to be Miyuki and asks Takuma what he's doing. Surprised to see she is supposedly free of mind control, he tells her what he was doing but as she tells him he doesn't need to worry any more as she's okay now the others run in and tell him she's not Miyuki. With its disguise figured out, the fake Miyuki reveals its true form as a Kenzoku and attacks them alongside some of its fellow Kenzoku allies though they end up being defeated.

Renamon was able to find Ebonwumon in the waterway shrine, and had a group of Kenzoku attack him. Renamon would leave the shrine, with the children ending up coming across him in his Haru disguise. Haru takes the children into the shrine where they find Ebonwumon fighting the large group of Kenzoku. As the children freak out, Haru reveals his true form as Renamon and that he was actually a Kemonogami the entire time, and was Miyuki's partner. Having a hatred of the Professor, the real Haru, Renamon attacks him in revenge for leaving Miyuki behind 50 years in the past with the children shocked at this revelation. Renamon tries to offer the Professor as a sacrifice to the Kenzoku, hoping it will power them up enough to defeat Ebonwumon, though the children attack Renamon to stop him. Renamon warp evolves to Taomon and tries to defeat the children alongside a group of Kenzoku, though they are unable to win. After losing to the children, they tell Taomon that they want to save Miyuki too with the Professor telling him that he wont take Miyuki away from him. Before Taomon can react, Ebonwumon confronts the group having killed off all the Kenzoku that were attacking him.

After the children obtain the power of all four members of the Four Soveriegn Monsters, they go to the shrine ready to fight Master. Upon arrival, they are attacked by multiple large groups of Kenzoku but are able to beat them all allowing them to get to Master. When Master fights against the humans, he summons two very powerful Super Ultimate level Kenzoku to fight them but they are defeated alongside Master.
