Betamon is one of Keisuke Amasawa's Partners. Betamon wears a flower based on the flower on Palmon.

Keisuke attempts to buy Betamon from the Digi-Market after the salesman claims it, alongside Gotsumon and Tentomon, are useless Digimon that no one wants to buy and that the he was going to delete them anyway. Keisuke asks to buy it though before he can, demands the salesman let the other two go instead of deleting them. The salesman becomes angry at Keisuke for demanding such a thing, so summons his Ogremon and Devimon to attack Keisuke. Ryuji Mishima and Cyberdramon then appear and defend Keisuke, though after Betamon runs in to help as well, Ryuji adds the Digimon capture program to Keisuke's Digivice which allows Keisuke to capture the Betamon. They then team up and defeat the salesman, then force him to release the other two Digimon back into the wild. Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory

In the manga, rather than only getting one of the three Digimon, Keisuke gets all three Digimon. Keisuke goes to the DigiMarket, where he remembers how he got his partners. Not happy, he challenges the owners of the market, the Dinosaurists, and has to fight against their Triceramon, Tyrannomon and Monochromon. Keisuke is close to losing, only for his partners to digivolve to Seadramon, Kabuterimon and Golemon. Ryuji Mishima, Chitose Imai, Erika Mishima and Wormmon arrive and Ryuji has his Cyberdramon help fight. Gotsumon is one of Keisuke Amasawa's Partners. Gotsumon wears a Pumpkinmon hat.
