Appearance

Joe is a young boy with lightly tanned skin, black eyes and short blue hair. He wears a light blue collared shirt under a light grey sweater vest with a V-neck. The vest has yellow and green striped hemlines. He also wears a blue wristwatch on his left wrist, grey pants, white socks with a single horizontal green stripe, and brown and light brown sneakers with grey soles and laces.

Joe is shown to be diligent with his studies to the point of ignoring his situation in the digital world and building a shed to live and study in. He also tries to be the leader of the group due to being the oldest with varying results.

While on a pit stop, Joe befriends a Potamon who ends up digivolving into Jagamon and going into a berserker rage. Recognizing his friend, Joe has Ikkakumon digivolve into Zudomon whose hammer is then infused with the power of one of Angewomon's Holy Arrows and Joe's heart.
