Using their new Code Crown, the Fusion Fighters travel to the Island Zone and learn that it is also under attack by the Bagra Army.

Synopsis[]

After introducing herself to the Fusion Fighters, Nene Amano explains the history of the Code Crown and how his ownership of this piece makes him the ruler of the Zone. She also shows Mikey how to use Zone Transfer to transport between Zones, and then the Fusion Fighters find themselves in the Island Zone. There, after driving off a group of Gizamon, the Fusion Fighters are formally introduced to the Island Zone's elder Archelomon and Chibitortomon and learn that the Bagra Army is searching for the Island Zone Code Crown. However, the location can only be revealed once the Digibite offerings are gathered for a festival. While the Fusion Fighters help out, the Bagra Army commander Neptunemon learns of their appearance and sends a fleet of Mantaraymon so his Divermon can mount a beach assault.

Luckily, the Fusion Fighters set up a plan where they manage to commandeer a Mantaraymon and use it to sink the others while taking out the troops as well. Neptunemon retaliates by sending an Octomon to destroy the hijacked Mantaraymon and drown the Fusion Fighters. When Chibitortomon sees this and remembers Shoutmon's words of confidence, he allows Mikey to digifuse him to Shoutmon X2 to provide him with underwater capabilities. Despite their actions, Neptunemon manages to locate Archelomon and extract the location from him.
