Synopsis[]
Marcus Damon and Agumon were on their way to confront King Drasil. On their way, they were halted by Craniamon, who refused to let them pass. As Shinegreymon prepares to fight him, Craniamon summons his Omni Shield, a gift from King Drasil that is supposedly indestructible. No matter how many times ShineGreymon fights or attacks, the shield keeps protecting Craniamon. Even after digivolving to Burst Mode, ShineGreymon is still unable to penetrate Craniamon's defenses. At the same time, Thomas H. Norstein, Yoshino "Yoshi" Fujieda and Keenan Crier returned to the digital world to help Marcus. Marcus was worried, and they told him that his family was alright. The three arrived just in time to save Marcus and Shinegreymon Burst Mode from being killed by Craniamon's attack. After briefly espousing the value of the human spirit, the group attacks Craniamon with MirageGaogamon Burst Mode, Rosemon Burst Mode, Ravemon Burst Mode and ShineGreymon Burst Mode. After focusing all of their attacks on the Omni Shield, a crack finally appears. ShineGreymon blasts it again, causing it to fracture all over. A final punch from Marcus shatters it. Craniamon's faith in King Drasil is deeply shaken, and he allows them to pass, remarking that he will now stake the safety of both worlds on the human potential that was shown to him.
