Synopsis

The tamers start to board the ark, but Takato is torn between going home and waiting for Rika. Rika is holding Impmon while riding Kyuubimon, as they head towards the ark. They are going too slow, so Rika slashes a Speed Plug-In. Back at the ark, the ark starts moving, so Ryo and Cyberdramon go out after Rika as Takato rushes to get on board. Takato trips, so Guilmon tries to convince the ark to stop. Everyone forms a chain to try and pull up Takato, but he and Calumon wind up falling. Guilmon yells for the ark to stop, and surprisingly it does. Rika, Kyuubimon, Ryo and Cyberdramon arrive, and enter the ark after Rika grabs Takato and Calumon. Kyuubimon degenerates to Renamon and Cyberdramon degenerates to Monodramon. Despite this, the ARK is commically crowded. Kenta hears something, and notices that MarineAngemon snuck into his pocket, and is pushing out a D-Arc, meaning that MarineAngemon likes him so much that they are now partners. With everyone on board, the ark seals itself and resumes moving. Agent D-Reaper 01 (desguised as jeri) remains still, affecting everyone that glances at her, but suddenly the arc stops again, due to the D-Reaper attacking. The path of light vanishes, and the ark starts falling, despite hypnos beeing now a destributed system. Takato starts begging for the ark to get them home, until it connects to his PDA and says "OK". The ark rushes towards the real world, but the ride is quite shaky. Before breaking up, the ark makes it to the real world, and the children all step off the digital fog to see their relatives waiting for them. There are many different receptions, but interestingly all match the kids personalities, as (not in order) Kenta tearfully hugs his mom, kazu is "bonked" in the head by his father (after only leaving a written note), Ryo's father stoically disproves of him (for leaving for so long) until Ryo shows his shame, Jenrya is visibly realived of reuniting with his family, rika barely restrains herself from hugging her mother while Takato is simply very, very happy. Impmon wanders off, since no one was waiting for him, while Riley informs Yamaki that Jen's parents said that "if the ungrateful daughter wanted to, she could return home alone". Councerned, Takato asks his parents if he can bring Jeri home, and they (with a bit of persuasion) agree. The ark suddenly sinks and disappears. The scene then skips to a train station, where guilmon is waiting for Takato to bring his snaks, which he does (barely!). On the train Takato crashes into the picket who histerically calls guilmon a monster but before there is any fight, guilmon's stomach rumbles, calming down the picket, who apologetically picks up the dropped snack boxes. Then, Takato sits down in the empty carriage (sans a druken, who is sleeping), facing Jeri. He then spills his heart to Jeri about how he feels about her, but her only reaction is to read the ingredients on the snackbox in her lap. He brings her to her father, who picks her up in his car, Calumon going unnoticed with her. Then, while Takato and Guilmon are waiting for a train back, Takato notices that the TV is showing the D-Reaper, who has followed them to the real world!
