Fiction[]
Digimon Adventure tri.[]
The Harmonious Ones were the Partner Digimon of four of the original DigiDestined. They digivolved from their Ultimate forms in a climatic battle with the Dark Masters, and sacrificed their comrade, Megadramon to power an attack that defeated the evil quartet, rendering Megadramon himself incapable of becoming a Digi-Egg. Digimon Adventure 02[]
At some point after that, they became the guardians of the four compass points of the Digital World, preserving its balance. Azulongmon is the guardian of the Eastern Digital World. Kyoto Dragon
Before the next group of DigiDestined arrived in the Digital World, the four Harmonious Ones were defeated and sealed away by each of the Dark Masters. Following the defeat of the Dark Masters at the hands of the DigiDestined, the Harmonious Ones were still trapped beneath the seal. In order to break the seal, they took the power from the DigiDestined's Crests. The Crest of Light and Hope respectively broke Azulongmon's seal, Courage and Friendship unsealed one of the four seals, Sincerity and Love released another seal, and finally Knowledge and Reliability broke the last seal. Kyoto Dragon Unfortunately, using the Crests in this way meant that the eight children's Digimon could no longer digivolve to Ultimate or Mega. Fusion Confusion
Shortly afterward, the Four Harmonious Ones organize the "D-1 Tournament", and one of them, determined by how he answers the entry quiz, draws Ryo Akiyama into the Digital World. The tournament's stated goal was to choose a Tamer to take down the other three Harmonious Ones, who are claimed to have gone rogue, but Ryo and the other DigiDestined eventually discover that this was merely a ruse to train Ryo for a battle against Moon=Millenniummon, revived from Millenniummon. Digimon Adventure 02: D-1 Tamers
Despite participating in the D-1 Tournament, and even speaking personally with the Four Harmonious Ones, Gennai later claims that the only member he is aware of is Azulongmon.[citation needed]
Later, the Harmonious Ones were imprisoned once again because of the influence of the Control Spires. When Ken Ichijouji brings his Dark D-3 into the Digital World, they are able to find new Digimon who have the ancient power to armor digivolve, thus bypassing the evil powers of the Control Spires that prevent Digimon from using regular Digivolution. The Harmonious Ones then create the D-3s for three new DigiDestined and select Digimon that have the power to armor digivolve, who they seal underneath the Digi-Eggs; Gatomon and Patamon, already partnered to a DigiDestined are also found to be capable of Armor Digivolution, although Gatomon is required to lose her Holy Ring first. The Crest of Kindness is hidden from Ken by the powers of darkness, so it is necessary for the Harmonious Ones to rebuild it into the Digi-Egg of Miracles. Kyoto Dragon
Later, upon learning of Control Spires appearing in the Real World and Digital Gates opening all over the world, the Harmonious One Azulongmon passes down his Digi-Cores to allow the original Japanese Digi-Destined to be able to have their Digimon digivolve to their Ultimate forms again, while enabling the DNA Digivolution of Paildramon to digivolve to his Mega form of Imperialdramon Dragon Mode to assist in destroying the Control Spires and sending the various Digimon that had appeared all over the world back to the Digital World. Azulongmon later granted some of his power to Taichi "Tai" Kamiya's partner Agumon to warp digivolve to his Mega form of WarGreymon again to combat his dark counterpart, BlackWarGreymon. Members[]
The Harmonious Ones are Partner Digimon of four of the original DigiDestined and digivolved to their Mega forms in a climactic battle against the Dark Masters.
Due to the Digivolution happening offscreen, it is uncertain which of Hippogriffomon, LoaderLiomon, and Triceramon digivolved to Azulongmon, Baihumon, and Zhuqiaomon. For simplicity, this wiki assumes that the avian, Bird-species Hippogriffomon digivolved to Zhuqiaomon, the feline, Machine-species LoaderLiomon digivolved to Baihumon, and the reptilian, Dragon-species Triceramon digivolved to Azulongmon. |
Ebonwumon[]
Ebonwumon was originally an Orochimon partnered to one of the original DigiDestined, and digivolved in a climactic battle against the Dark Masters, Loss only to later be defeated and imprisoned by them in turn. He was released when the DigiDestined used the powers of their Crests. Kyoto Dragon Ebonwumon then helps set up the rigged D-1 Tournament to train Ryo to fight Moon=Millenniummon, but is re-imprisoned when Ken Ichijouji becomes the Digimon Emperor. They then create the D-3 and gave it to the new DigiDestined to fight against Ken.
Zhuqiaomon[]
Zhuqiaomon was originally a Hippogriffomon partnered to one of the original DigiDestined, and digivolved in a climactic battle against the Dark Masters, Loss only to later be defeated and imprisoned by them in turn. He was released when the DigiDestined used the powers of their Crests. Kyoto Dragon Zhuqiaomon then helps set up the rigged D-1 Tournament to train Ryo to fight Moon=Millenniummon, but is re-imprisoned when Ken Ichijouji becomes the Digimon Emperor. They then create the D-3 and gave it to the new DigiDestined to fight against Ken.
Azulongmon[]
Azulongmon was originally a Triceramon partnered to one of the original DigiDestined, and digivolved in a climactic battle against the Dark Masters, Loss only to later be defeated and imprisoned by them in turn. He was released when the DigiDestined used the powers of their Crests. Azulongmon himself was freed by the Crests of Hope and Light, as he would later reveal to BlackWarGreymon and the DigiDestined. Kyoto Dragon Azulongmon then helps set up the rigged D-1 Tournament to train Ryo to fight Moon=Millenniummon, D-1 Tamers but is re-imprisoned when Ken Ichijouji becomes the Digimon Emperor. They then create the D-3 and gave it to the new DigiDestined to fight against Ken.
After rejecting Arukenimon's control, BlackWarGreymon becomes driven to destroy the Destiny Stones that preserve balance in the Digital World, as each time a Stone is destroyed an apparition of Azulongmon appears, writhing in pain. After BlackWarGreymon sees Azulongmon appear, he decides that he is a worthy opponent and that he will continue to destroy the stones in search of him. Ultimately, Azulongmon is freed when the DigiDestined uses their D-3s to move the final Destiny Stone, causing him to appear. After Azulongmon dispatches BlackWarGreymon, he passes on his knowledge of the past to the DigiDestined, plants his Seeds of Light (seeds that will sprout and take on the same purpose as the Destiny Stones) in place of the destroyed Destiny Stones, and leaves. Later, Azulongmon gives the DigiDestined one of his twelve DigiCores through Gennai. The power of the DigiCore allows the original DigiDestined's Digimon to digivolve into their Ultimate forms again, and for Paildramon to mega digivolve to Imperialdramon Dragon Mode. Dramon Power Azulongmon later gives Taichi "Tai" Kamiya and Agumon more power, allowing Agumon to once again warp digivolve to his Mega form, WarGreymon, so he can fend off his doppelganger, BlackWarGreymon. Duel of the WarGreymon
Another DigiCore is used in New York, America to let Palmon digivolve to Lillymon. It also gives Veemon and Betamon energy to digivolve into ExVeemon and Seadramon respectively. Whether it is the same DigiCore or a different one is unknown. Digimon World Tour, Pt. 1
It is also suggested that BlackWarGreymon got to the human world inadvertently because of Azulongmon. Agumon explains that, when Azulongmon gave the DigiDestined the power to fight in the Real World by use of the DigiCore, the Digital World's defenses were weakened, meaning that not much was able to stand in the way of BlackWarGreymon. Duel of the WarGreymon
Azulongmon has a witty personality in the English dub, while in the original Japanese he is depicted as very serious and no-nonsense.
Baihumon[]
Baihumon was originally a Bearmon Coexistence partnered to Daigo Nishijima. Whilst in his LoaderLiomon form he digivolved in a climactic battle against the Dark Masters, Loss only to later be defeated and imprisoned by them in turn. He was released when the DigiDestined used the powers of their Crests. Kyoto Dragon Baihumon then helps set up the rigged D-1 Tournament to train Ryo to fight Moon=Millenniummon, but is re-imprisoned when Ken Ichijouji becomes the Digimon Emperor. They then create the D-3 and gave it to the new DigiDestined to fight against Ken.
