Hajime Katsura (桂 はじめ Katsura Hajime?) is Rei Katsura's younger brother. He was kidnapped by Leviathan for the intent of forcing him to create an Appmon.

Appearance[]

Hajime is a young boy with short brown hair and blue eyes. He wears a white long sleeved button-up shirt, a sleeveless light yellow sweater vest, dark blue shorts, black socks, and blue loafers with white soles.

On summer 2017, he replaces his usual shirt and sweater with a white shirt with a yellow part on the upper body and shoulders. Awaken, Sleepmon! Appmon Championships Again!!

During Haru Shinkai's pursuit on Rei Katsura for the 7code chips, the latter explains his motive: To apprehend Leviathan and rescue his brother (Hajime), who suddenly disappeared along with most of his biodata. Sakusimon—Defeat With Super Applink!

Rei initially thought that it was his solving of Leviathan's cryptic clue that led to Hajime's abduction. It was only revealed much later that Hajime was actually the first person to solve the cryptic clue (taking him almost immediately, while his elder brother took weeks). The cryptic clue was used as a means to recruit someone with great AI knowledge to create a startup tool for the Human Applification Project. After his disappearance, Hajime was then ordered by Leviathan to create Bootmon. However, knowing that the Human Applification Project has grave consequences, Hajime had secretly installed an emergency escape program into Bootmon and activated it just as Leviathan was about to retrieve Bootmon. As a result of defiance, Hajime was modified by Biomon, turning the former into Sleepmon. Awaken, Sleepmon! Appmon Championships Again!!
