Hackmon is a calm Digimon that supports Mon and helps her with tiny details. Hackmon and Mon have a long history together, though Hackmon doesn't like to talk about this.[1]
Hackmon is a very powerful Digimon. Its Champion form, BaoHuckmon, is able to defeat large groups of Ultimate level Digimon and Ultimate power Spiral, and its Ultimate form, SaviorHuckmon, is able to effortlessly defeat Mega level Digimon. In the past, Mon lived in a village with a group of MudFrigimon. One day it is attacked after an IceDevimon heard rumors that a human lived there. After destroying the village and killing most of the MudFrigimon it manages to find Mon and demands she make it stronger, though Jesmon arrives and kills it before it can kidnap her. Jesmon is upset that it had spent too long on IceDevimon's decoys so hadn't arrived in time to save the village and attempts to tell her to return to the Human World though instead befriends her when she asks how she can become as strong as it is so she could help protect everyone too. Years later Hackmon and Mon are the messengers of the Digital World and their goal is to rid the World of the Spiral. A New Quest! The Mysterious Visitor They are friends with the Deva. Keito's Decisive Fighting Spirit!
Jesmon has the ability to sense unusual phenomenon. One day it senses a massive distortion and so it and the other members of the Royal Knights team up to deal with it, though after large group of Spiral spawn all over the Digital World the group splits up. As they deal with the Spiral, Jesmon's group ends up having to fight Mastemon as well.
Months later, impressed with the fact that Herissmon and the Protagonist were able to quell so many Digital Points in the Human World, on top of the fact that Herrismon is able to sense the Spiral, Mon and Hackmon decide to travel to the Human World to ask them for help in doing the same in the Digital World. They are surprised to learn that Herissmon is able to talk to the Spiral, though for some reason he is unable to talk to the ones in the Digital World. Keito's Decisive Fighting Spirit!
After travelling to the Human World they eventually find them in a Digital Point. After helping them defeat the Spiral within they ask the Protagonist, and only the Protagonist, to help them. The Protagonist, Herissmon, Michi Shinjo, Salamon, Keito Tamada, and Elecmon are shocked to learn that Mon lives in the Digital World. The Spiral, as the Digital Point was still active, suddenly open a Digital Gate to the Digital World and the group, sans Mon and Hackmon, are sucked in. This pleases Mon as the group were now in the Digital World, making it less effort for them as they no longer had to convince them to travel there, though Hackmon points out it was a problem because may now have to search the entire Digital World to find them. They eventually find the Protagonist, Rasenmon, Michi, and Angewomon inside the local Digimon's hidden base inside a forest fighting a group of Mamemon. BaoHuckmon jumps into the battle and defeats the remaining Mamemon, and the Mamemon flee. The Tamers had agreed with the local Digimon to deal with the Mamemon as they had stolen the local Digimon's homes, and Mon explains that that the Mamemon had stolen the local Digimon's homes because the Spiral had chased them out of their homes and that chaos like this was common after the Spiral had shown up to the Digital World. The Mamemon return with their boss, a Boltmon, and annoyed after learning that the Boltmon and Mamemon were trying to become leaders of the forest by defeating the local Digimon, BaoHuckmon digivolves to SaviorHuckmon, defeats Boltmon, and then tells them that that isn't how the forest does things. Boltmon and the Mamemon agree to stop forcing their way of lives onto other Digimon and Mon and SaviorHuckmon state they will get their homes back for them. The local Digimon invite Boltmon and the Mamemon to live with them until the group are able to get their homes back for them, though the Protagonist and Michi insist they find Keito and Elecmon first — to the annoyance of Mon. As they continue through the Digital World they come across a group of Gotsumon, having been chased out of their village by a group of Spiral. They had been attacked by another group of Spiral whilst running away, but are saved by the Tamers. They agree to help save the Gotsumon village though are surprised to find that Keito and Elecmon had already saved the village. Finally reunited they all travel to the Mamemon and Boltmon's village but are attacked by more Spiral on the way. Stefilmon senses that more had spawned in the Gotsumon village so they split up with Keito and GrapLeomon returning to the Gotsumon village. BaoHuckmon digivolves to SaviorHuckmon to make up for their absence and fights the Spiral alongside Rasenmon. After they arrive to the village they find a single Spiral and Rasenmon talks to it. It turns into its glitched form, tells them not to interfere, and then flees. The rest of the Spiral in all the Digital Points flee as well, seemingly under the orders of the glitched one. Hackmon then opens a Digital Gate and sends the Tamers back to the Digital World, and states they will ask for their help again in the future. Keito's Decisive Fighting Spirit!
Some time later Mon and Hackmon suddenly teleport into the Truffle Cafe, after the group had just met Kazuma Natsuyagi. They take the group to the Digital World to fight the Spiral that are attacking Primary Village, leaving a disappointed Kazuma behind as he doesn't have a partner. They eventually find the glitched Spiral-4004Y which spawns a group of Spiral-4036Y to attack them. SaviorHuckmon and Rasenmon are able to defeat the Spiral-4036Y, but the Spiral-4004Y gets away. The group defeats the rest of the Spiral and saves Primary Village, and the Digi-Egg Kazuma was protecting hatches and becomes his partner Digimon, giving the group another ally. A One-Track Mind! Kazuma Joins the Party
After dealing with a small Spiral outbreak - Mon, Hackmon, the Protagonist, and Herissmon visit the Truffle Cafe and meet Eiji Futami, who states he knew who Mon was right away because of the description he had been given by Lopmon, much to Mon's surprise. The girls tell Mon that she dresses odd, which makes her stand out, and the girls decide they will take her shopping though realise they wont be able to as she doesn't have a smartphone and so can't hide Hackmon. Luckily for them, Eiji gives Mon an old smartphone so that she can use it to hide Hackmon when travelling throughout the Human World.
A week later the group meet up to shop, before which Mon had acquired new clothes so that she would stand out less in the Human World. Just as they were about to start shopping however, a Digital Point opens up and the group are attacked by Spiral. Hackmon, Salamon, Herissmon, and Kudamon digivolve to their Champion forms to defeat the Spirals, though a group of Kuwagamon and Okuwamon suddenly arrive, having been dragged into the Digital Point by the Spiral however before they can chase them they hear Kazuma Natsuyagi and Botamon in trouble further into the Digital Point and split up to deal with both issues at the same time. BaoHuckmon and Chirinmon arrive just in time to save Kazuma and Wanyamon, who had just digivolved from Botamon, from the Spiral as Wanyamon had been easily defeated — the duo having thought that because Botamon had digivolved it was now as strong as Chirinmon. The fact that Kazuma had had an In-Training level Digimon fight pissed Mon off, though she eventually calms down after Wanyamon tells her to stop yelling at him.
Later the two Deva, Vajramon and Pajiramon arrive in the Digital Point and attack the group as the Deva assumed the Humans were behind the constant Spiral attacks in the Digital World. The group try to talk them down, stating they were not behind the Spirals, however the two Deva refuse to believe it as they do no trust Humans and also express shock at Mon and BaoHuckmon helping Humans. As the two Deva continue to fight Chirinmon they tell it to prove that it is strong and to gain their trust by fighting them. As the fight continues they acknowledge that Chirinmon is strong however as the fight halts the two Deva are suddenly attacked and defeated by Machinedramon. Assuming that Machinedramon was on a rampage BaoHuckmon digivolves to SaviorHuckmon and attacks Machinedramon though Gaiomon suddenly arrives and intercepts the attack. As Takumi Hiiragi arrives Kazuma runs up to him, reuniting with the friend he had been searching for. Mon angrily yells at Kazuma for putting Wanyamon into danger by running up to the enemy in the middle of battle. Wanyamon chases after Kazuma, stating it will protect him and digivolves to Bearmon to the shock of Mon, confused as to how a newly born Digimon was able to digivolve twice in such a short space of time though Takumi has Gaiomon fight SaviorHuckmon instead of Bearmon. Takumi, deciding that he needs to press "them" for answers, moves onto the next location though is chased by SaviorHuckmon and Bearmon — leaving Machinedramon, Chirinmon, and the Deva behind. As the fight continues Takumi is sent a message, which causes him to have Gaiomon retreat from the battle. SaviorHuckmon and Mon attempt to chase the duo though Gaiomon aims an attack at Mon, which SaviorHuckmon blocks, the distraction giving Takumi and Gaiomon enough time to escape. Mon, SaviorHuckmon, Kazuma, and Bearmon then return to the rest of the group. A God Beast Digimon?! A Path for Mayu to Follow
When Hackmon finds its fellow Royal Knight Leopardmon fighting the Tamers due to it wanting to kill Sara and Machinedramon, Hackmon refuses to join the battle as it assumes Leopardmon had a reason to fight them. After Leoaprdmon stops fighting and tells them that Sara and Machinedramon are behind everything going on in the Digital World Sara admits this and has Machinedramon attack Leopardmon. Takumi and Gaiomon suddenly arrive and attack Leopardmon too, so Hackmon digivolves to Jesmon and saves Leopardmon. Sara and Takumi retreat realising they cannot defeat two Royal Knights and Leopardmon leaves, angry it had understimated its opponents. Days later Jesmon eventually finds Leopardmon after searching for it and learns from it that the Seven Deadly Digimon were using the troubles in the Digital and Human World to their advantage, with Crusadermon and other fellow Royal Knights dealing with that situation. After their conversation Leopardmon leaves to try and find Sara and Machinedramon, whilst Jesmon goes to the Dark Area as Leopardmon told it that the Royal Knights had heard rumors that GranDracmon had left its castle. Whilst there it is ambushed by GranDracmon's minions, with this being a trap to keep Jesmon busy so it could turn the Tamers and Digimon into ice sculptures and keep them in its castle forever. Jesmon is able to defeat all GranDracmon's minions and join the Tamers in fighting it in the Digital Point. Before Jesmon had arrived, GranDracmon had mocked Mon, stating that she doesn't care about the Human World and whether it gets destroyed though after her friends deny it she remembered when she first met Jesmon and wanted to be strong like it so she could protect everyone. After regaining her resolve, lights come out of her and power up the other Digimon with Rasenmon now a match for GranDracmon as the Digimon's attacks had had no effect on it before that. As GranDracmon mocked Jesmon, due to it having already used up a lot of its energy fighting the decoys in the Dark Area, it is attacked by Rasenmon – with GranDracmon surprised it was still able to fight. GranDracmon retreats though informs the Tamers that it will return, as it had fallen even more in love with them and now wants to make them part of its collection even more. Mon and Hackmon then travel to the Dark Area to try and find GranDracmon, though are unable to do so as it had not returned. When they return to the Truffle Café Chihiro tells the group she had been attacked by the Digimon that had been causing Humans to fall into comas, and after she informs them that Matadormon did it – the duo realise that GranDracmon was Matadormon and had been terrorising the Human World the entire time. Darkness Invades! The Dancing Vampire Matadormon eventually digivolves back to GranDracmon after harvesting humans for their energy and is able to brainwash Michi and Angewomon into becoming its minions. After Mon and SaviorHuckmon find the GranDracmon brainwashed Michi and Angewomon in a Digital Point, GranDracmon has Michi flee. The group chase after her, though GranDracmon summons a VenomMyotismon, side-tracking Mon and SaviorHuckmon as they are forced to fight it to protect the Town – with SaviorHuckmon digivolving to Jesmon to fight it, easily killing it. The rest of the group are able to defeat GranDracmon whilst Mon and Jesmon are distracted. Illuminating Light A Guide to the Rainbow
When on a trip to the Digital World to fight Spiral, Kazuma tells the group about the times he played basketball with Takumi however during the conversation the group are attacked by a group of Spiral, and so they digivolve to their Champion levels to defeat them. A Spiral-4036Y spawns in front of Kazuma however, and after Kazuma remembers a lesson he learned from Takumi in which he doesn't have to do everything himself, has Grizzlymon flee when Grizzlymon realises it stands no chance at defeating such a powerful Spiral. BaoHuckmon digivolves to SaviorHuckmon and Filmon warp digivolves to Rasenmon, and the duo proceed to defeat the Spiral as it was chasing Kazuma and Grizzlymon. Kazuma then tells the group about his friendship over the years with Takumi. Kazuma & The Upperclassman
Sometime after that Hackmon and the others defeat a large amount of Spiral and notice that the amounts they had to defeat were getting lower – though rather than celebrate they realise this was most likely because something else was going on. As they clear out more Spiral they find a group attacking a group of Lalamon, though they are "saved" by Sandiramon, who defeated the Spiral whilst simultaneously hurting the Lalamon. The group are mad at this, though a fight is defused when they learn Sandiramon is one of the Deva, after which it informs them that the Four Holy Beasts were awakening and later learn from Kumbhiramon that they were awakening due to the lower amount of Spirals restoring the balance of the Digital World meaning they no longer had to slumber.
A few days later they test out Eiji's new app that allows communication between the Human World and Digital World, though whilst testing it the test is suddenly interrupted by Seraphimon of the Three Archangels and Examon of the Royal Knights. Realising that the two were about to fight Hackmon digivolves to BaoHuckmon and gets the Tamers and fellow partner Digimon out of the way, as the group would not survive with how close they were to the two Digimon in question. The fight continues and after Seraphimon launches a powerful attack, the ground below them splits and everyone - sans Hackmon and Mon – fall inside. Mon, worried about her friends, follows them into the hole whilst Hackmon tries to stop the two Digimon from fighting. BaoHuckmon warp digivolves to Jesmon though ends up watching the fight continue unable to decide which of the two Digimon it should support. Just as the Tamers get out of the hole and return to the surface Crusadermon arrives and attacks Jesmon, pissed off that it had supposedly chosen to side with Seraphimon. Jesmon tries to convince Crusadermon to get the Archangels help by talking to them but Crusadermon laughs stating that wasn't possible and that they had to get into the domain to kill Lucemon and that Seraphimon was obviously sheltering the Demon Lord in its former home. Realising that the Tamers were friends with Takumi and Sara, who had attacked the Digital World with a group of Spiral, Crusadermon decides it would be best to kill the entire group, including Mon, which is enough to spur Jesmon into battle against its fellow Royal Knight. Jesmon sends the rest of the group to fight Examon, then battles Crusasdermon to see which of their ideals was right though they stop fighting when Zhuqiaomon of the Four Holy Beasts awakens and demands to know why they were all fighting each other. The Time of Awakening Approaches! The Mighty Heartbeat of the Four Holy Beasts Unsatisfied with the explanations of the quarrelling factions Zhuqiaomon decides to take the matters into its own hands and joins the battle. Mon however is able to stop the fighting, following Eiji Futami's advice, by pointing out that not all members of the groups had let their opinions be known and set up a summit between the Four Holy Beasts, Royal Knights, Three Archangels, and the Tamers. A few days before the summit, Eiji allows Mon to use the cafe to prepare and gives her and Hackmon coffee. As the duo drink it they reminisce with Eiji about Mon's time with the Tamers. Eiji then decides to help her with the preparations. Mon and Eiji's Unbeaten Path: Markers of Betrayal
The summit doesn't go well however, as the Archangels refuse to get involved in the Spiral problem and Examon pisses off the Holy Beasts by pointing out how badly their previous attempt at dealing with the Spiral had gone — as they and sent them to the Dark Area, which had cause them to learn how to transverse between the Dark Area, Digital World, and Human World. Before a fight escalates the Tamers are able to defuse the situation by calling for a break. They then decide to talk to each group individually and are able to convince the Royal Knights to trust the Angels, with the rest of the group also able to convince the other groups to trust each other as well causing the three groups to agree to work together. A Digimon Summit Begins?
Hackmon eventually figures out that Eiji is behind everything and confronts him with Leopardmon and Mon. Eiji and Sara are able to forcibly transport them to a Digital Point that saps away their energy, though Leopardmon uses the last of its strength to transport Jesmon and Mon out of it. They find Eiji and Sara again, and are able to follow Eiji into the Kernel alongside Rasenmon. The others fight Sara, and when Jesmon, Rasenmon, and their Tamers find Eiji he plays a memory from his Mother that reveals she gave birth to Mon in the Digital World, then died, making them siblings. As Eiji freaks out having learned this, one of the Spiral working for him attack him and take over the Kernel, having planned to do this the entire time with this Spiral being sentinet and naming itself Spiral Origin. It takes in the Kernels power, then easily defeats Jesmon and Rasenmon. It then sends everyone out of the Kernal and begins its plan to destroy both the Human and Digital Worlds as revenge for them persucting the Spiral. God's Territory The End of the Road: Eiji's Fulfilled Wish
Upon awakening they are attacked by a group of Spiral, and Hackmon and Herissmon are unable to digivolve and end up having to be saved by Machinedramon and LovelyAngemon (with Sara having turned back to the side of good). Eiji is talked into helping them back into the Kernel though he tells them that it would be impossible to get back into it in the conventional way but theorises that by hacking Herrismon and accessing its connection to the Spiral Hive Mind they could manifest a gate that would allow them to travel to Spiral Origin, who just so happened to be inside the Kernel. He whips up a program that allows them to do this and installs it into Herissmon – who is then able to open said gate though the gates instead send them to the other Tamers one by one, which allows them to join in on the assault against Spiral Origin. Eiji asks Herissmon if this was on purpose, though it states it wasn't and the gates must've just been reacting to the fact it did want to reunite with the others. After recruiting everyone else, they go through the gate once again only for it to instead send them to the Dark Area – with them being dropped right in front of GranDracmon. GranDracmon is delighted that its beloved Tamers had appeared before it though with it not yet being strong enough to defeat them it survives their combined attack, uses Eye of the Gorgon on Herissmon, and is able to brainwash Herissmon and cause it to warp digivolve to Rasenmon Fury Mode once again. Before it can do anything however, the Protagonist is able to snap it out of it and revert it back to Herissmon simply by calling out to it which annoys GranDracmon. It manifests a copy of Rasenmon Fury Mode and has it attack the group, though Herrismon warp digivolves to Rasenmon and is able to tap into the real Fury Mode's powers causing it to use a new attack featuring the powers of both Rasenmon and Fury Mode, which it uses to defeat the copy. Defeated, GranDracmon retreats. After GranDracmon is defeated, multiple Spiral spawn and Hackmon is finally able to digivolve again and so warp digivolves to Jesmon and helps the group defeat the Spiral. Rasenmon is then finally able to open a gate to the Kernel, though Spiral Origin sends the Spiral Guardians (G-Spiral-6097, G-Spiral-6098, and G-Spiral-6099) through it from the other side to attack them. Newfound Power! Rasenmon and the Ties That Bind
As the group struggle against the Spiral Guardians they realize that they need more help to be able to defeat them. Grizzlymon, wanting to be more useful to the group as it couldn't do much whilst still stuck at the Champion level, forces itself to digivolve to Cerberusmon so that it could open a gate to the Dark Area so that more of their allies can join the battle. No one appears to come out of it though, which leads Spiral Origin to boast that it had used the Kernel's power to delete the Digital World, and assumes it had worked. It taunts the Tamers about the fact they had failed and that everyone was dead only for Sandiramon to tell it to shut up, which caused the group to realize they had indeed summoned at least one ally to help them. Spiral Origin freaks out, as it should've been dead alongside the Digital World, with Sandiramon telling them that the Digital World still existed as the Four Holy Beasts had managed to stop the deletion at the last second. Sandiramon then allows Cerberusmon to use the DigiCore it had been entrusted with by the Four Holy Beasts to be used to open multiple gates at once which allows all members of the Deva, Royal Knights, and Three Archangels to join the battle. With the group now being much bigger, their combined forces are able to defeat the Spiral Guardians. Spiral Origin revives them however, though the large group of newly summoned allies fight them and allow the Tamers to go to the Kernel. Vs. Guardians
As the Tamers travel the Kernel, they are ambushed by stronger and stronger Spiral until they eventually reach Origin. Origin spawns even more Spiral, with everyone except Rasenmon fighting them. Rasenmon tries to talk Origin down and as it does, it is given power by rebellious Spiral who didn't want Origin to destroy the World and instead wanted to be friends with everyone (as Origin was unable to exert its will over the entire Hive Mind at that point). Origin uses the ones it still had control over to become its own unique form, though the rebellious Spiral power up Rasenmon up enough to allow it to defeat Spiral Origin. This also causes the Spiral Guardians fighting in the Dark Area to disperse as well.
After Spiral Origin's defeat, the Three Archangels return to the Kernel and usher everyone out with the exception of Eiji and Spiral Origin as their data had been altered due to taking control of the Kernel. Due to them doing this, both the Digital World and Real World would reject them, meaning they were now trapped in the Kernel forever though Cherubimon stated they would both be deleted as punishment for their actions once they had regained control of it (though had no clue how long this would take, as the duo had done large amounts of damage to it meaning it could take "all eternity" to fully fix it). Eiji didn't care about the fact he was trapped there, as he no longer had any reason to want to return anyway since he had achieved his life goals and simply decides to wait for his fate to be sealed. He pretends to not care about the others, though after Mon tells him how happy she was that she ended up having a big brother that had welcomed her "home" to Truffle every time she visited he blushes and thanks the group for being so nice to him despite all he had done as they separate forever. He then creates a program that allows the Spiral to be reborn as real Digimon. The Spiral, now as actual Digimon, are then finally happy with some of them becoming partner Digimon to Humans. Mon and Hackmon then return to the Digital World, and stop visiting the others. Months later, more trouble happens in the Digital World so they return to Truffle and enlist the help of the Protagonist, Herrismon, Kazuma, and Bearmon once again. Destiny Calls, Future Weavers

When Rasenmon, Angewomon, and GrapLeomon are starting to tire from fighting an endless stream of Spiral whilst in a Digital Point, BaoHuckmon and Mon suddenly arrive and BaoHuckmon easily defeats the remaining Spiral-2020B despite them being Ultimate level in power. Having to search the Digital World for the group of Tamers after they had been sucked into a portal whilst in the previous Digital Point, Mon and BaoHuckmon eventually find Rasenmon and Angewomon fighting a large group of Mamemon in the local Digimon's secret hideout — the Mamemon having found their secret hideout having previously stolen their homes from them. As Rasenmon and Angewomon begin to tire from fighting so many Mamemon — BaoHuckmon jumps in and defeats the remaining Mamemon, forcing all of them to retreat. After Mon explains that the Mamemon had stolen the local Digimon's homes because the Spiral had chased them out of their homes and that chaos like this was common after the Spiral had shown up to the Digital World, the Mamemon return with their boss, a Boltmon. BaoHuckmon then digivolves to SaviorHuckmon to fight it. Stranded in the Digital World?!
As they travel to the village - Mon is about to explain what being the messenger of the Digital World means - Herissmon suddenly senses a group of Spiral. The group follow Herissmon and find a group of Spiral attacking a group of Gotsumon. Hackmon digivolves to BaoHuckmon and defeats them alongside Filmon and Gatomon. The group agree to help save the Gotsumon village from Spiral, as they had run away when a group attacked their village, however upon reaching it they are reunited with Keito and Elecmon, who had already defeated all the Spiral. The group travel to the Mamemon and Boltmon village, however they are ambushed by more Spiral on the way. Angewomon, Stefilmon, GrapLeomon, and BaoHuckmon defeat them however Stefilmon suddenly senses Spiral having spawned inside the Gotsumon village again - but as they still need to save the other village as well - the group split up with Keito returning to the Gotsumon village. BaoHuckmon then digivolves to SaviorHuckmon to make up for their absence. Keito's Decisive Fighting Spirit!

When the group decide to go shopping so that they could help teach Mon and Hackmon about the Human World a Digital Point opens up before they can start shopping - so Hackmon, Salamon, Herissmon, and Kudamon digivolve to their Champion forms to defeat the Spirals. A Kuwagamon and Okuwamon suddenly arrive, having been dragged into the Digital Point by the Spiral - however before they can chase them they hear Kazuma Natsuyagi and Botamon in trouble further into the Digital Point and split up to deal with both issues at the same time. BaoHuckmon and Chirinmon arrive just in time to save Kazuma and Wanyamon, who had just digivolved from Botamon, from the Spiral as Wanyamon had been easily defeated — the duo having thought that because Botamon had digivolved it was now as strong as Chirinmon. The fact that Kazuma had had an In-Training level Digimon fight pissed Mon off, though she eventually calms down after Wanyamon tells her to stop yelling at him.
Later the two Deva, Vajramon and Pajiramon arrive in the Digital Point and attack the group as the Deva assumed the Humans were behind the constant Spiral attacks in the Digital World. The group try to talk them down, stating they were not behind the Spirals, however the two Deva refuse to believe it as they do no trust Humans and also express shock at Mon and BaoHuckmon helping Humans. As the two Deva continue to fight Chirinmon they tell it to prove that it is strong and to gain their trust by fighting them. As the fight continues they acknowledge that Chirinmon is strong however as the fight halts the two Deva are suddenly attacked and defeated by Machinedramon. Assuming that Machinedramon was on a rampage BaoHuckmon digivolves to SaviorHuckmon. A God Beast Digimon?! A Path for Mayu to Follow
When the rest of the group split up to try and find the other Deva to convince them to trust the humans, Mon, BaoHuckmon, Kazuma, and Bearmon decide to deal with some of the nearby Digital Points. Deva Training! A Battle to Remember!
When on a trip to the Digital World to fight Spiral, Kazuma tells the group about the times he played basketball with Takumi however during the conversation the group are attacked by a group of Spiral, and so they digivolve to their Champion levels to defeat them. A Spiral-4036Y spawns in front of Kazuma however, and after Kazuma remembers a lesson he learned from Takumi in which he doesn't have to do everything himself, has Grizzlymon flee when Grizzlymon realises it stands no chance at defeating such a powerful Spiral. As the Spiral chases the dup, BaoHuckmon digivolves to SaviorHuckmon and Filmon warp digivolves to Rasenmon. Kazuma & The Upperclassman
When the Tamers test out Eiji's app to allow communication between the Human World and Digital World the test is suddenly interrupted by Seraphimon of the Three Archangels and Examon of the Royal Knights. Realising that the two were about to fight Hackmon digivolves to BaoHuckmon and gets the Tamers and fellow partner Digimon out of the way, as the group would not survive with how close they were to the two Digimon in question. This doesn't last long however as their attacks end up splitting the ground, causing the Tamers and Partner Digimon to fall into it – BaoHuckmon the only exception. SaviorHuckmon is Hackmon's Ultimate form.
After finding the Protagonist, Rasenmon, Michi Shinjo, and Angewomon fighting a group of Mamemon in the local Digimon's hideout - the Mamemon having chased them out of their homes - BaoHuckmon jumps in and defeats the remaining Mamemon, forcing them to retreat. After Mon explains that the Mamemon had stolen the local Digimon's homes because the Spiral had chased them out of their homes and that chaos like this was common after the Spiral had shown up to the Digital World, the Mamemon return with their boss, a Boltmon, and so BaoHuckmon digivolves to SaviorHuckmon to fight it. Boltmon claims that it simply had been fighting Digimon to see who was the strongest and should be the leader, however SaviorHuckmon states that they is not how they do things in this forest and that if it continues to cause chaos it will deal with Boltmon itself. This annoys Boltmon, and it proceeds to attack SaviorHuckmon — however SaviorHuckmon easily defeats its Mega level opponent. Having lost, Boltmon and the Mamemon agree to stop forcing their way of life on others and Mon and SaviorHuckmon tell them they will get their homes back for them. The local Digimon invite Boltmon and the Mamemon to live with them until them until Mon and SaviorHuckmon are able to get their homes back for them. Stranded in the Digital World?!
On the way they come across a group of Gotsumon who also had had their village attacked by Spiral. They agree to help them save the village though are surprised to see it had already been saved by Keito Tamada and GrapLeomon. Finally reunited they all travel to the Mamemon and Boltmon's village but are attacked by more Spiral on the way. Stefilmon senses that more had spawned in the Gotsumon village so they split up with Keito and GrapLeomon returning to the Gotsumon village. BaoHuckmon digivolves to SaviorHuckmon to make up for their absence and fights the Spiral alongside Rasenmon. After they arrive to the village they find a single Spiral and Rasenmon talks to it. It turns into its glitched form, tells them not to intefere, and then flees. The rest of the Spiral in all the Digital Points flee as well, seemingly under the orders of the glitched one. Keito's Decisive Fighting Spirit!
When Mon and Hackmon ask the group to come to the Digital World to help protect Primary Village from the Spiral, Hackmon digivolves to BaoHuckmon and then SaviorHuckmon to fight them — alongside Chirinmon, Rasenmon, and HeavyLeomon. After the group split up Rasenmon and SaviorHuckmon find the original Spiral-4004Y but it spawns a group of Spiral-4036Y and they try to kill them. After Rasenmon and SaviorHuckmon defeat the Spiral-4036Y they are unable to defeat the Spiral-4004Y as it is able to flee. The group then proceed to defeat the rest of the Spiral and save Primary Village. A One-Track Mind! Kazuma Joins the Party
After Machinedramon suddenly arrives and attacks and defeats the two Deva, Vajramon and Pajiramon, after they were fighting Chirinmon under the impression that the Humans were responsible for the Spiral and Digital Points, BaoHuckmon digivolves to SaviorHuckmon and attacks Machinedramon though Gaiomon suddenly arrives and intercepts the attack. As Takumi Hiiragi arrives Kazuma runs up to him, reuniting with the friend he had been searching for. Mon angrily yells at Kazuma for putting Wanyamon into danger by running up to the enemy in the middle of battle. Wanyamon chases after Kazuma, stating it will protect him and digivolves to Bearmon though Takumi has Gaiomon fight SaviorHuckmon instead of Bearmon. Takumi, deciding that he needs to press "them" for answers, moves onto the next location though is chased by SaviorHuckmon and Bearmon — leaving Machinedramon, Chirinmon, and the Deva behind. As the fight continues Takumi is sent a message, which causes him to have Gaiomon retreat from the battle. SaviorHuckmon and Mon attempt to chase the duo though Gaiomon aims an attack at Mon, which SaviorHuckmon blocks, the distraction giving Takumi and Gaiomon enough time to escape. A God Beast Digimon?! A Path for Mayu to Follow
When Gaiomon defeats Sinduramon and steals its DigiCore and is about to kill Kazuma and Grizzlymon SaviorHuckmon suddenly arrives and protects them. It then notices Gaiomon about to launch an attack that will destroy the area as Takumi no longer cared what happened to them due to having acquired the DigiCore and has everyone retreat just in time, saving all their lives. Deva Training! A Battle to Remember!
Later, when a Digital Point opens up in the Digital World, Caturamon use one of the DigiCores to open a distortion and have all the Spiral go into it to get them out of the Digital World, as it had done so in the past, but the other Deva disagreed with this as they did not have the Four Holy Beasts any more to supress the power of the distortion, making the plan too dangerous. Caturamon still goes ahead with the plan however, and unable to reach the center of the Digital Point, Sinudramon asks the Tamers to go inside it and stop Caturamon, though first they have to defeat all the nearby Spiral – which Hackmon, Elecmon, and Herissmon start to do after digivolving to SaviorHuckmon, HeavyLeomon, and Rasenmon. HeavyLeomon and Rasenmon continue to fight the Spiral, whilst SaviorHuckmon leaves to help Michi and Sara deal with Caturamon instead, having noticed they had entered the Digital Point through Keito's tracking machine. When SaviorHuckmon arrives it finds that Angewomon and Megadramon were fighting Ophanimon Fallen Mode and were no match for it, and helps them out. The three Ultimate Digimon still find themselves no match for it however and Caturamon reveals in the middle of the fight that Ophanimon had been supressing the distortion using the power of the DigiCore it had given it but that it was too much for it to handle, which is why it had suddenly become Fallen Mode, as usually fighting a few enemies wouldn't be enough for it to become Fallen. Realising the error of its ways, Caturamon teams up with the Tamers and is able to take back the DigiCore after using the others as a distraction which is enough to restore Ophanimon to its senses. The duo apologise for what had happened, realising the other Deva were right all along and that the plan was too dangerous to use. Chasing the Shadow of an Angel! Joining Forces with Sara!
When Leopardmon is about to defeat Machinedramon in a Digital Point after Sara confirms to everyone else that she is behind all the problems in the Digital World, Sara spawns a large group of Spiral and Hackmon warp digivolves to SaviorHuckmon and fights them alongside the rest of the group. During the fight it sees Leopardmon about to be defeated by Gaiomon and Machinedramon so rushes to help its fellow Royal Knight, digivolving to Jesmon. Advent of the Holy Knight! Mark of the Blade
When the Tamers search for Michi, who had been brainwashed by GranDracmon, they come across a Digital Point full of Spiral and evil Digimon though they are all teleported away by GranDracmon. Mon and Hackmon arrive just after, and having come across a SkullSatamon ask where Michi is. After it refuses to tell them, Hackmon digivolves to SaviorHuckmon and kills it. They eventually find Michi and Angewomon in a Digital Point, fighting their friends and upon arrival, GranDracmon has Michi flee. GranDracmon summons a VenomMyotismon, side-tracking Mon and SaviorHuckmon as they are forced to fight it to protect the Town – with SaviorHuckmon digivolving to Jesmon to fight it. When the groups Champion level Digimon were fighting a group of Spiral, a Spiral-4036Y spawns in front of Kazuma and Grizzlymon and the duo run away after Kazuma remembers a lesson he learned from Takumi in which he doesn't have to do everything himself. Sometime after that; SaviorHuckmon, Rasenmon, HeavyLeomon, and Grizzlymon defeat a large amount of Spiral and notice that the amounts they had to defeat were getting lower – though rather than celebrate realise this was most likely because something else was going on. As they clear out more Spiral they find a group attacking a group of Lalamon, though they are "saved" by Sandiramon, who defeated the Spiral whilst simultaneously hurting the Lalamon. The group are mad at this, though a fight is defused when they learn Sandiramon is one of the Deva, after which it informs them that the Four Holy Beasts were awakening and later learn from Kumbhiramon that they were awakening due to the lower amount of Spirals restoring the balance of the Digital World meaning they no longer had to slumber.
A few days later the group try out Eiji's app which he created to allow communication between the Real and Digital Worlds though whilst trying it out they are attacked by a group of Spiral, which the group proceed to defeat – with Hackmon warp digivolving to SaviorHuckmon. Hackmon attends the summit between the Royal Knights, Three Archangels, and Four Holy Beasts as SvaiorHuckmon. The summit doesn't go well however, as the Archangels refuse to get involved in the Spiral problem and Examon pisses off the Holy Beasts by pointing out how badly their previous attempt at dealing with the Spiral had gone — as they and sent them to the Dark Area, which had cause them to learn how to transverse between the Dark Area, Digital World, and Human World. Before a fight escalates the Tamers are able to defuse the situation by calling for a break. They then decide to talk to each group individually with Mon, SaviorHuckmon, Michi, and Mitamamon going to talk to the Royal Knights. Upon reaching their resting ground they are attacked by Crusadermon's Knightmon minions, who state they have to defeat them to be allowed to talk to the Royal Knights. After they defeat the Knightmon they attempt to convince the Royal Knights to end the meeting amicably and Mayu attempts to convince them to trust the Archangels that they aren't harbouring Lucemon though they are unable to do so. She instead attempts to convince them to trust the humans, though this disgusts Crusadermon who then decides to murder Mayu for suggesting such a thing with the others being too far away to stop Crusadermon. Mayu is able to convince Crusadermon to trust them however after a passionate speech about trusting each other and that she trusted Crusadermon wouldn't kill her, with Crusadermon inspired due to the beauty and passion of her speech. The Royal Knights then agree to trust the humans. Due to the hard work of the others convincing the other groups to trust them as well the three groups agree to work together. A Digimon Summit Begins?

They continue to transverse the Kernel and are attacked by stronger Spiral, so digivolve once again to the Ultimate level to deal with them. Even more powerful Spiral show up though, so they once again digivolve – this time to the Mega level (with the exception of Cerberusmon). Destiny Calls, Future Weavers

- Meteor Flame: Rapid-firing shots of fire from its mouth like a machine gun, burning the enemy to cinders.

Jesmon[]
Jesmon is Hackmon's Mega form.
In the past, Jesmon arrives at the MudFrigimon village after it is attacked, though is too late to save it and it is burned down. It is able to save Mon's life however, killing an IceDevimon that was about to kidnap her so it could use her to become more powerful. Jesmon cries over the loss of the village, pissed off that it hadn't been able to get there in time due to being stalled by decoys. Mon, Lost in Memories: Impending Darkness
Using its ability to sense unusual phenomenon, Jesmon senses a massive distortion and reports it to Alphamon. The 13 Royal Knights then all gather together, and come up with a plan to split up in half and attack it from both sides in an attempt to seal it, half in the Digital World, and half in the Human World. As they do so, large amounts of Spiral emerge from the distortion. The Royal Knights defeat them all, however even more emerge all over the Digital World, so the Royal Knights split up to take them down. Whilst taking care of these distortions, Jesmon, Craniamon, Kentaurosmon, Dynasmon, Gankoomon, and Leopardmon fight against Mastemon, whilst the other half of the Royal Knights fight Lucemon.
Months later, when Gaiomon and Machinedramon are about to defeat Leopardmon LM with a combined attack, SaviorHuckmon suddenly arrives, digivolves to Jesmon, and blocks the attack. Sara and Takumi realise they wouldn't be able to take out two Royal Knights and escape through a gate to the Dark Area. This pisses Leopardmon off, having underestimated its opponents, and it leaves after apologising to the other Tamers for fighting them. Jesmon then decides to follow Leopardmon so it can catch up to Leopardmon and ask it some questions. Advent of the Holy Knight! Mark of the Blade
Days later it eventually finds Leopardmon and learns from it that the Seven Deadly Digimon were using the troubles in the Digital and Human World to their advantage, with Crusadermon and other fellow Royal Knights dealing with that situation. After their conversation Leopardmon leaves to try and find Sara and Machinedramon, whilst Jesmon goes to the Dark Area as Leopardmon told it that the Royal Knights had heard rumor that GranDracmon had left its castle. As it travels the Dark Area it defeats a large amount of evil Digimon and Spiral and realises that the Holy Beasts had failed to expel them due to how many Spiral there were in the Dark Area. VenomMyotismon tells Jesmon that this was a trap and it, more VenomMyotismon, and a group of Spiral attack Jesmon. Jesmon eventually defeats them all. It later arrives in the Digital Point the Tamers were in just in time to help them fight GranDracmon, who had set the trap up to get Jesmon out of the way so it could turn everyone into ice sculptures and keep them in its castle for eternity. Before Jesmon had arrived, GranDracmon had mocked Mon, stating that she doesn't care about the Human World and whether it gets destroyed though after her friends deny it she remembered when she first met Jesmon and wanted to be strong like it so she could protect everyone. After regaining her resolve, lights come out of her and power up the other Digimon with Rasenmon now a match for GranDracmon as the Digimon's attacks had had no effect on it before that. As GranDracmon mocked Jesmon, due to it having already used up a lot of its energy fighting the decoys in the Dark Area, it is attacked by Rasenmon – with GranDracmon surprised it was still able to fight. GranDracmon retreats though informs the Tamers that it will return, as it had fallen even more in love with them and now wants to make them part of its collection even more. Jesmon then de-digivolves to Hackmon having run out of energy. Mon, Lost in Memories: Impending Darkness

When Seraphimon of the Three Archangels and Examon of the Royal Knights fight as a result of the Archangels refusing to help the Royal Knights find Lucemon SM their attacks cause a split in the ground, with the Tamers and Partner Digimon falling into it, with the exception of BaoHuckmon. Realising it needed to stop the fight, BaoHuckmon warp digivolves to Jesmon though ends up watching the fight continue unable to decide which of the two Digimon it should support. Just as the Tamers get out of the hole and return to the surface Crusadermon arrives and attacks Jesmon, pissed off that it had supposedly chosen to side with Seraphimon. Jesmon tries to convince Crusadermon to get the Archangels help by talking to them but Crusadermon laughs stating that wasn't possible and that they had to get into the domain to kill Lucemon and that Seraphimon was obviously sheltering the Demon Lord in its former home. Realising that the Tamers were friends with Takumi and Sara, who had attacked the Digital World with a group of Spiral, Crusadermon decides it would be best to kill the entire group, including Mon, which is enough to spur Jesmon into battle against its fellow Royal Knight. Jesmon sends the rest of the group to fight Examon, then battles Crusasdermon to see which of their ideals was right though they stop fighting when Zhuqiaomon of the Four Holy Beasts awakens and demands to know why they were all fighting each other. The Mighty Heartbeat of the Four Holy Beasts Unsatisfied with the explanations of the quarrelling factions Zhuqiaomon decides to take the matters into its own hands and joins the battle. Mon however is able to stop the fighting, following Eiji's advice, by pointing out that not all members of the groups had let their opinions be known and set up a summit between the Four Holy Beasts, Royal Knights, Three Archangels, and the Tamers. Jesmon had suspected Eiji was behind all the problems in the Digital World and having figured out his plan, goes with Mon and Leopardmon to attack him and stop him. Eiji had to go to a specific location to be able to infiltrate the Kernel, making finding him easy, and deciding to have a back up plan just in case, they have Kentaurosmon come as well but out of view. When the duo attempt to kill Eiji and Sara the humans are able to paralyse the Knights by summoning hacked Spiral with the ability to do so. Kentaurosmon, now needing to save its fellow Knights, fires its Bifröst at them – killing them – however this was a trap with Eiji and Sara being hacked Spiral that merely looked like the humans. A planned Digital Point then opens up and sucks in the three Royal Knights. As the Knights lose more and more power due to the Spiral's paralysis alongside the hacked Digital Point also absorbing their energy, Leopardmon uses the last of its strength to attack Jesmon (who grabs Mon) sending them flying out of the Digital Point into another one – with Leopardmon telling them to find Eiji by searching the other Digital Points. They are able to find Eiji, with him having opened the portal to the Kernel, though they weren't able to arrive in time to stop him going through it. Despite this, Jesmon was able to defeat some of the Spiral that were attacking the rest of the Tamers which allowed it, Rasenmon, and their Tamers to run through the portal as well whilst the others fought Machinedramon and the remaining Spiral. God's Territory
As they travel through the Kernel, they are attacked by a group of Spiral sent by Eiji leading Jesmon and Rasenmon to fight them. After defeating them they eventually find Eiji, and they once again defeat his Spiral with Eiji shocked as they were not meant to be able to do that without Gaiomon's help. Jesmon then reveals that it had managed to copy Gaiomon's ability to stop their new paralysis technique, rendering it useless. Undeterred, Eiji summons more of them and has them attack the Humans, figuring they would rather save their partners than stop him. After they defeat those Spiral, the group are suddenly ambushed by a memory revealing not only did Eiji's Mother die whilst stranded in the Digital World, she gave birth whilst there with Mon being his younger sister. As he freaks out upon learning this, one of the Diaboromon type Spiral reveals it is actually a Spiral-4004Y then attacks him – with this being the original Spiral that had glitched. As the group question the fact that this Spiral was acting on its own instead of being part of the Hive Mind, it names itself Spiral Origin and reveals that it plans to wipe out both Humans and Digimon as revenge for them persecuting the Spiral. Jesmon and Rasenmon try to stop it, but it easily defeats them – having gained the power of the Kernel thanks to Eiji. It then banishes everyone from the Kernel and begins its plan to destroy both Worlds. The End of the Road: Eiji's Fulfilled Wish
Upon awakening they are attacked by a group of Spiral, and Hackmon and Herissmon are unable to digivolve and end up having to be saved by Machinedramon and LovelyAngemon (with Sara having turned back to the side of good). Eiji is talked into helping them back into the Kernel though he tells them that it would be impossible to get back into it in the conventional way but theorises that by hacking Herrismon and accessing its connection to the Spiral Hive Mind they could manifest a gate that would allow them to travel to Spiral Origin, who just so happened to be inside the Kernel. He whips up a program that allows them to do this and installs it into Herissmon – who is then able to open said gate though the gates instead send them to the other Tamers one by one, which allows them to join in on the assault against Spiral Origin. Eiji asks Herissmon if this was on purpose, though it states it wasn't and the gates must've just been reacting to the fact it did want to reunite with the others. After recruiting everyone else, they go through the gate once again only for it to instead send them to the Dark Area – with them being dropped right in front of GranDracmon. After GranDracmon is defeated, multiple Spiral spawn and Hackmon is finally able to digivolve again and so warp digivolves to Jesmon and helps the group defeat the Spiral. Rasenmon is then able to open a gate to the Kernel, though Spiral Origin sends the Spiral Guardians (G-Spiral-6097, G-Spiral-6098, and G-Spiral-6099) through it from the other side to attack them. Newfound Power! Rasenmon and the Ties That Bind
As the group struggle against the Spiral Guardians they realize that they need more help to be able to defeat them. Grizzlymon, wanting to be more useful to the group as it couldn't do much whilst still stuck at the Champion level, forces itself to digivolve to Cerberusmon so that it could open a gate to the Dark Area so that more of their allies can join the battle. No one appears to come out of it though, which leads Spiral Origin to boast that it had used the Kernel's power to delete the Digital World, and assumes it had worked. It taunts the Tamers about the fact they had failed and that everyone was dead only for Sandiramon to tell it to shut up, which caused the group to realize they had indeed summoned at least one ally to help them. Spiral Origin freaks out, as it should've been dead alongside the Digital World, with Sandiramon telling them that the Digital World still existed as the Four Holy Beasts had managed to stop the deletion at the last second. Sandiramon then allows Cerberusmon to use the DigiCore it had been entrusted with by the Four Holy Beasts to be used to open multiple gates at once which allows all members of the Deva, Royal Knights, and Three Archangels to join the battle. With the group now being much bigger, their combined forces are able to defeat the Spiral Guardians. Spiral Origin revives them however, though the large group of newly summoned allies fight them and allow the Tamers to go to the Kernel. Vs. Guardians
In order to break into the Kernel the Digimon had to dedigivolve back to the Rookie level. Upon geting into it, they are ambushed by a group of weak Spiral leading them to all digivolve to the Champion level to defeat them. They continue to transverse the Kernel and are attacked by stronger Spiral, so digivolve once again to the Ultimate level to deal with them. Even more powerful Spiral show up though, so they once again digivolve – this time to the Mega level (with the exception of Cerberusmon, as it is unable to digivolve to Mega). Origin spawns even more Spiral, with everyone except Rasenmon fighting them. Rasenmon tries to talk Origin down and as it does, it is given power by rebellious Spiral who didn't want Origin to destroy the World and instead wanted to be friends with everyone (as Origin was unable to exert its will over the entire Hive Mind at that point). Origin uses the ones it still had control over to become its own unique form, though the rebellious Spiral power up Rasenmon up enough to allow it to defeat Spiral Origin. Attacks
- Weltgeist (Schwertgeist, Deu: Sword Ghost): Uses an omnidirectional counter technique alongside "At", "Rene", and "Pol" that meets every enemy attack with their nine blades.
- OS Generics: Temporarily rewrites its own data to perform actions that transcend the laws of nature, such as breaking the speed of light to slash the opponent.
- Judgement of the Blade (轍剣成敗 Tekken Seibai?, lit. "Furrow-sword Judgment"):[2] Carves the opponent to pieces with the blades on its arms while moving at high speed.
