Gulfmon is a Dark Animal Digimon. It is a dark Digimon that emerged from the abyss of the Dark Area. Its large build is that of a demon beast, as immense as a mountain and possessing sturdy limbs, and attached to its lower half is a "Maw" large enough to swallow everything. What is more, it is said that the hole is connected to the abyss of the Dark Area, and it's said that those who are sucked in have their souls (DigiCores) smashed to pieces and are no longer able to escape. Its power is mighty, and it's also said that it could destroy the world in seven days.[2]

Gulfmon is #353, and is a Mega-level, Attacker-class, Dark-species Digimon with a resistance to the Dark element and weakness to the Light element. Its basic stats are 337 HP, 334 MP, 179 Attack, 167 Defense, 165 Spirit, 130 Speed, and 78 Aptitude. It possesses the Heroic Power, Dark Veil, Assassin, and Gladiator traits.
It dwells in the mansion area of Transfield.
Gulfmon digivolves from ShadowWereGarurumon. In order to digivolve to Gulfmon, your Digimon must be at least level 56, with 15,000 Dark experience and 290 attack.
Gulfmon can also DNA digivolve from Arukenimon and Volcamon, if the base Digimon is at least level 51, with 12,000 Dark experience, and 8500 Beast experience.
