Grizzlymon is a Beast Digimon. Grizzlymon might seem ferocious thanks to its large frame, not to mention its deadly claws and fangs, but it has the honest and straightforward spirit of a true martial artist. It has the combat sense to match too, relying not only on attacks but moving with a speed that belies its great bulk to avoid and deflect enemy strikes. Grizzlymon never starts a fight, but when angered it will draw itself up onto its hind legs and lash out with its heavyweight "Bear Claws" (熊爪 Kuma Tsume?). Its strength is such that just with this one strike it can critically injure most Digimon. Apparently WaruMonzaemon wears its "Bear Claw" in imitation of this attack.[7]
Attacks
- Maul Attack[8] (当身返し Atemigaeshi?, lit. "Bodystrike Reversal"): Turns the force of an enemy’s move against them, striking where they’re vulnerable to defeat them in a single blow.
- Crescent Dawn: Flails its forelegs creating the shape of a crescent moon and attacks the opponent left and right.
- Heavy Attack: Attacks with a blow with the power of a beast.
- Black Bear Claws
Design[]
Grizzlymon is a quadrupedal bear Digimon covered in purple fur. It has red eyes, a black nose, and grey fur on part of its head. It has a white crescent moon on its forehead. It wears red armor on the shoulders of its forelegs, the paws of which are covered with red, spiked gauntlets that have sharp claws: the "Kuma Tsume". Its hind legs are not as massively developed as its forelegs, but they are still large.
