Gatomon is Kari Kamiya's Partner in Digimon Adventure:. At some point she was captured by the Dark Digimon and corrupted into SkullKnightmon, but is later defeated by WarGreymon and reverts back to Gatomon.

As Ophanimon, she played an important role in the ancient battle against ZeedMillenniummon. After most of the other Digimon in the Army of Light were destroyed, Seraphimon and Ophanimon DNA Digivolved WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon into Omnimon who, empowered by the souls of all of the fallen Digimon, destroyed ZeedMillenniummon. Afterwards, Ophanimon died and was reborn as a Digi-Egg. She was captured by the Vademon who corrupted Gatomon's Digi-Egg. The Attack of Machinedramon The egg then hatched and became SkullKnightmon The Glowing Angewomon who served Devimon and the forces of Millenniummon.
Despite the corruption by Millenniummon's followers, Gatomon's soul still existed inside of SkullKnightmon. The Kari of Dawn The Glowing Angewomon Her feathers later appeared to Kari Kamiya to help cause the DNA Digivolution of Omnimon once more. War Game Countdown to Tokyo's Annihilation

During the battle with MarineDevimon, when Gatomon almost dark digivolves to AxeKnightmon due to the dark miasma, Kari reaches out to Gatomon, promising that she can call her again whenever she is scared again. Gatomon overcomes her fear and manages to digivolves into Angewomon who defeats MarineDevimon. The Glowing Angewomon
During the battle with Jagamon, Gatomon digivolves to Angewomon and infuses Zudomon's hammer with one of her Holy Arrows, giving Zudomon and Joe Kido the power to purify Jagomon and break him out of his berserker state. Jagamon, Potato Trouble

Ophanimon[]
Ophanimon is one of Gatomon's Mega forms. It is one of the seven Celestial Digimon, as well as one of the Three Great Angels.[2]
In the past, Ophanimon was one of the seven leaders of the Army of Light that fought against the Army of Darkness. The only survivors were six Digi-Eggs, implied to belong to Phoenixmon, MetalGarurumon, HerculesKabuterimon, WarGreymon, Rosemon, and Vikemon. The Celestial Digimon After Phoenixmon, Rosemon, Vikemon and HerculesKabuterimon were destroyed, Seraphimon and Ophanimon made WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon DNA Digivolve into Omnimon empowered with the souls of the fallen warriors so he could defeat ZeedMillenniummon, the ultimate weapon of the Dark Digimon. Magnadramon is one of Gatomon's Mega forms.
Angewomon and MagnaAngemon digivolve to Magnadramon and Goldramon to defeat Millenniummon, though Millenniummon digivolves to ZeedMillenniummon after dying. The two Dragons, alongside the rest of the friends the DigiDestined made on their journey, then power up WarGreymon's Terra Force so that it is able to destroy ZeedMillenniummon once and for all. After digivolving to Magnadramon and all of the power that she used up against Millenniummon, Gatomon is subsequently too tired to digivolve to face Burpmon and has to rest and recover for awhile. SkullKnightmon[]
SkullKnightmon is Gatomon's corrupted Champion form, who can Mode Change to Naginata Mode and Arrow Mode. It serves under both Devimon and Moon=Millenniummon. It has DarkMaildramon as its steed.
After the previous war against the Army of Darkness, Ophanimon had turned into a Digi-Egg, which was discovered and corrupted by the Vademon. The Attack of Machinedramon The egg had then hatched and eventually became SkullKnightmon, The Glowing Angewomon who first served under Devimon in the Cloud Continent. Fist of the Beast King
SkullKnightmon was sent along with Velgemon to ensure that Minotarumon, Bullmon, Bulbmon and the Troopmon would manage to deliver captured T.K. Takaishi to Devimon. Fist of the Beast King After Minotarumon's forces were destroyed and Angemon had sacrificed his powers to ensure Velgemon's death, Fist of the Beast King The Seventh Child's Awakening SkullKnightmon took Angemon's Digi-Egg in order to deliver it to Devimon and be corrupted. The Seventh Child's Awakening The Tide-Turning Update SkullKnightmon personally fought Tai Kamiya, Matt Ishida and T.K. when they arrived into Devimon's castle to take back Angemon's Digi-Egg. As the DigiDestined send WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon the power to DNA digivolve into Omnimon, a shadowy image of SkullKnightmon appears over Ophanimon along with Dandevimon appearing over Seraphimon to rescue their respective counterparts from Abbadomon. Devimon declares that he hears the voices resonating beyond the world and gathering hope, declaring that despite the destruction in sight, the light of hope glows bright, creating a miracle. AxeKnightmon[]
AxeKnightmon is Gatomon's corrupted Ultimate form, and is the digivolved form of SkullKnightmon. When it was decided that Gatomon would be transformed into a Dark Digimon, the development team decided to use AxeKnightmon because the Digimon Xros Figure Series: SkullKnightmon & DeadlyAxemon Set came with a Gatomon DigiMemory.[3]
While in the effort to stop Tai Kamiya, Matt Ishida, and T.K. Takaishi to grab back Angemon's Digi-Egg, SkullKnightmon was cornered by MetalGreymon and WereGarurumon. SkullKnightmon asked for more power, so Devimon used the Dark Crystal containing Moon=Millenniummon's spirit to digivolve SkullKnightmon into AxeKnightmon. The Unbeatable Blue Sagittarius AxeKnightmon survived the battle and the destruction of Devimon's castle. After the destruction of Devimon's Ultimate form NeoDevimon, AxeKnightmon retrieves the Dark Crystal and uses Moon=Millenniummon's power to digivolve NeoDevimon into Dandevimon. After Dandevimon's destruction and the DigiDestined's arrival to the Eternal Continent, AxeKnightmon attacked the DigiDestined in order to captue Kari Kamiya, but was stopped by Angemon and forced to degenrate back into SkullKnightmon. To the New Continent The Children's Fight for Survival
SkullKnightmon digivolved into AxeKnightmon once again after capturing Kari and resonating with her as part of the ritual to sacrifice themselves for Millenniummon's resurrection. The Dark Crystals of the ritual altar mad AxeKnightmon grow even larger and it also used its Undead Soldier technique to send several Vilemon spirits to attack the other DigiDestined. After growing large enough, AxeKnightmon's armor started to dissipate and its data to be sent to FAGA, a large Dark Crystal in the Sealed Grounds, where most of Millenniummon's essence resided. But Kari managed to find Gatomon's own spirit inside AxeKnightmon's armor and Tai and WarGreymon saved them before destroying AxeKnightmon. AxeKnightmon's destruction allowed Gatomon to regain her physical body. The Kari of Dawn
After being exposed to the dark miasma while fighting MarineDevimon, Gatomon becomes surrounded by the shadow of AxeKnightmon, causing her to attack Greymon. However, Kari is able to break through to her partner, causing the miasma to disappear and Gatomon to digivolve into Angewomon instead. The Glowing Angewomon
