Ganemon is a Mutant Digimon. It is an old, gentlemanly Digimon in the shape of a 10-yen coin. It loves money, and for the sake of money will use its eloquent way with words to swindle any opponent, no matter who they may be, out of their wealth. Not only that, it uses the Zenimons it keeps in its trunk to collect money. Using its moustache as a radar, it is able to detect the locations of Zenimons that have obtained money, so that it can come over to retrieve them. It eats the money it has collected for its own gain, which causes its body to grow larger in size.[2]

  • Gold Bowling: Throws its collected pool of money. While the attack's power rises the more money is used for it, the money that has been tossed will not return.
  • Gold Press: Uses its entire body to press down on the opponent, changes in power depending its body size, which reflects how much money it has collected.

Ganemon is a Digimon that resembles a gold 10 yen coin with black eyebrows and mustache, golden eyes, a mouth, and thin black arms and legs. It wears white gloves, brown shoes, and a black hat with a red stripe on it. It also carries a briefcase.

In various media including both its Bandai and Toei art, it is depicted holding a stack of 10,000 yen notes. In Digimon Fusion, Ganemon reverts to the copper coloration of a 10 yen coin when weakened.
