Fiction[]

Shortly after the launch of the Digimon Liberator video game, Winr met and became partners with FunBeemon. As Winr was part of the De-bug team for the game, she helped him in his hole to deal with any internal issues that arise within the game.

Due to the large number of NPCs going rogue, the team were dispatched to hunt them down. They are also tasked with hunting down wild Digimon and turning them into cards, as the wild Digimon feature wasn't yet supposed to have gone live and was causing the game issues.

During his time as part of the de-bug team, Winr and FunBeemon became close friends with fellow members Yuuki and Impmon.

After gaining a new deck via a glitch and defeating a rogue NPC, Yuuki and Impmon become so overexcited they challenge the main scenario and drag Winr and FunBeemon alongside with them. Despite the new deck, she is defeated easily by the NPC and its deck focused around EX7-047: Tlalocmon. She lost so fast, Winr couldn't even analyse the NPC's deck. DEBUG.2-1 Winr

Shortly afterwards, Winr defeats a rogue NPC and gains new cards just like Yuuki had told him about. He also got a new ability for his Tamer card. He decides to fight the prior NPC himself, and insists to FunBeemon that he wasn't fighting to avenge her and instead figured a deck that had defeated Yuuki would be a good test for his own new deck. He claims he had also gotten annoyed at how popular she had gotten lately, so figured he would steal said popularity by defeating something Yuuki was unable to defeat. DEBUG.2-1 Winr His real plan was to defeat the NPC and then teach Yuuki how to defeat it so that she would be impressed by him as he had a crush on her. DEBUG.2-2 GOOD GAME

Winr returns to the Emerald Coast, and stands in the open enjoying the wind. FunBeemon arrives and tells her partner to take shelter, since the powerful winds could blow him away with how small he is. Winr points out the hypocrisy, since FunBeemon is the one who gets blown away by the wind, and as he expresses his annoyance, FunBeemon asks him what's wrong and tells him that it had invited him here to help cheer him up as he had spent a long time looking at the area on his map. As FunBeemon laughs at how badly Yuuki lost, it asks Winr if he planned to fight Tlalocmon as well — with him confirming that he did indeed plan to do so. Funbeemon assumes he wanted to avenge his friend, though he lies about his reasons in wanting to duel it. Winr brings up his inventory and shows off his newly obtained cards to FunBeemon with the duo marvelling over their new cards. Winr then asks FunBeemon if it would like to become the Queen of the Royal Base.

As the duo leave the Forest, Winr appears to doubt himself — stating he was worried the cards could actually terrible and cause them to lose, though FunBeemon calms him down by telling him not to worry about it and that it can tell he's actually excited to try them as he is always so meticulous about his deck. They continue on, eventually finding themselves in the rainforest where Yuuki fought Tlalocmon. Shortly afterwards, they find the NPC responsible for playing the Tlalocmon Deck and prepare to duel. DEBUG.2-1 Winr

After he wins, Winr looks at his rewards, with FunBeemon points out they had gotten revenge for Yuuki. Winr continues to lie about his reasons for dueling the NPC, with FunBeemon reacts confused, stating his face clearly showed he was happy he had gotten revenge for her. He ignores FunBeemon and tells her that Yuuki and Impmon had probably finished bickering by now and were ready for a rematch and that they would be unable to win without help and would come crying to him again after their inevitable second loss. He then admits his real reasons for dueling the NPC, blushing having admitted his feelings towards her. Happy to see Winr admit those feelings, FunBeemon hugs him and asks him why he had come to LACUNA. He tells her that he wanted to test cards in the game before buying them in real life, complete the game's storyline, and would be yelled by Yuuki if he didn't play with her though quickly admits his real reason is because his parents are always fighting and as such he didn't want to go home. After ending the hug, FunBeemon asks if he was going to log off though he says he will play some more as he wants to test out his new deck a little more. FunBeemon flies off, presumably to to find someone for Winr to play against — with Winr giving chase. DEBUG.2-2 GOOD GAME

During Liberator's one week maintenance period, FunBeemon hung out with Impmon, Frigimon, and Tyrannmon in the place Digimon go when their partners are logged out. DEBUG.7-2 THE BOUNDARY BETWEEN GREEN AND RED

FunBeemon and Winr attend the debug team meeting that had been set up to induct Shoto Kazama and Arisa Kinosaki as the newest members of the debug team. SELECT FEW (Part 1)

Yuuki and Impmon see a wild Wormmon (and didn't know what species it was) whilst in the Obsidian Desert, and leave to tell the others. This causes a widespread search of the Desert with multiple debug team members sent out to find it. Yuuki goes with Winr, who, after lots of searching, are unable to find it. Yuuki yells at Winr at how she wasn't lying, with Winr telling her to keep it down since he had already suffered enough through having to travel through the Desert. She says Impmon saw it too, who backs up her claim and adds that it looked like a caterpillar. Winr asks FunBeemon's opinion, who says it may have been a DoKunemon, Wormmon, or even a new Digimon entirely. It points out that it had asked its Royal Base hive members to search around the desert beforehand, and that none of them had seen the green Digimon in question — though offers out the theory that it may have possessed an NPC or object since being spotted. Winr doubts this though, figuring that a random wild Digimon would have no where to hide, since so many debug team members were out looking for Maquinamon and that some had even captured some in the Desert and had made sure to check every single NPC and object in the area. He brings this up to Yuuki, who's protests go in vein. Winr asks why Yuuki is pushing so much about this supposed sighting, with her just saying "because". As he thinks over it, he realizes that she cares about all Digimon and how distraught she probably is about the fact that a wild Digimon could be suffering and then die as wild Digimon are unable to survive long inside LACUNA and so apologizes. As their partners try to cheer them up, Ryutaro and Tyrannomon show up. Ryutaro praises the duo for their work, whilst Tyrannomon jumps into the nearby water to cool down. They are quickly followed by Suzune and Frigimon, who had been working with Ryutaro and Tyrannomon.

Stopping for a break and a chat, Suzune says that she and Ryutaro hadn't found the Digimon either — though had seen some of the other debug members were duelling against a trio of NPCs and so something must've been going on in the desert. Not wanting to doubt Yuuki and Impmon, Suzune says that with no one having been able to find the wild Digimon — it must've already died. Yuuki becomes visibly sad, though quickly puts on a fake smile to try and hide the pain. With the mission "complete", Ryutaro, Suzune, and their partners leave — with Winr routed firmly in place. FunBeemon asks if he wants to say something to Yuuki, with him slightly annoyed at him being so obvious. Rather than act on his wishes though, he decides to let Impmon do it instead as "it'll be harder for Impmon to open up if we're there". FunBeemon laughs and says how it's a mature response, though just offers for them to come up with what he can say to her whilst they wait for her to return to the base. Winr protests about how he can never win against FunBeemon, and leaves. DEBUG.6-1 OASIS

One day, a large amount of black holes open up in Jewel. Unchained tells Cool Boy that they predicted said issue could cause LACUNA to be destroyed. The admins log out all regular players — though allow staff and debug team members to remain logged in. Winr was logged in at the time, with the admins sending a notification for logged in debug members to go to the Garden. Once there, they were all told to go look for NPC Sam the Clown as it was controlling the Digimon inside the black holes. With no one able to find him despite searching the entire City, Arisa Kinosaki eventually figures that they couldn't find the NPC as the wild Digimon possessing him must've digivolved to Imperialdramon and as such was no longer an NPC. Arisa texts everyone her theory, with this putting a stop to the search, the entire group now focused on taking down the fifty Imperialdramon. RAID ON THE WORLD (Part 2)

A few weeks after the Imperialdramon rampage, Yao Qinglan gives Winr and some of the other debuggers a mission to go to Cross Connectia to save the trapped Cool Boy, as well as Zenith's corrupted data. THE SKY FALL (Part 2) Upon arriving, FunBeemon digivolves to ForgeBeemon so it can make them a base of operations. It de-digivolves back to FunBeemon after making it. Since they needed to find Cool Boy and Zenith's data fast, Winr suggests splitting up — which everyone agrees to. Ryutaro points out that they have no idea where to start, and posits that Cool Boy likely knew someone could come for him and as such would have done something for that. Altea shows up and says that's an insightful point, and says that it and Oblivimon hadn't been able to find any traces of the duo during the short time they had spent looking around. Though they worry over the fact Altea hadn't found anything, some of them joke that they would need the help of Yuuki to find them as she was talented at getting lost and so would probably find them in the middle of being lost. As they laugh over this, they hear Oblivimon scream out that everyone needs to get away. Ryutaro, Winr, and Suzune digivolve their partners to the Ultimate level upon hearing this. DEBUG.10 Attack

Other forms[]

ForgeBeemon[]

ForgeBeemon is FunBeemon's Champion form.

A few weeks after the BlackImperialdramon rampage, Yao Qinglan gives Winr and some of the other debuggers a mission to go to Cross Connectia to save the trapped Cool Boy, as well as Zenith's corrupted data. THE SKY FALL (Part 2) Upon arriving, FunBeemon digivolves to ForgeBeemon so it can make them a base of operations. DEBUG.10 Attack

Vespamon[]

Vespamon is FunBeemon's Ultimate form.

At some point during Winr's duel with the EX7-047: Tlalocmon deck NPC Winr had digivolved an unspecified lv.2 Digimon all the way to BT19-052: Vespamon. FunBeemon had fused its consciousness with this stack.[2] On one of Winr's turns, he moves Vespamon from the Breeding Area to the Battle Area and digivolves it to BT19-053: QueenBeemon. DEBUG.2-2 GOOD GAME

A few weeks after the Imperialdramon rampage, Yao Qinglan gives Winr and some of the other debuggers a mission to go to Cross Connectia to save the trapped Cool Boy, as well as Zenith's corrupted data. THE SKY FALL (Part 2) Whilst there, the tamers are attacked by a large group of Ultimate level Digimon — though the group are able to digivolve their partners to the Ultimate level to block the attacks as Oblivimon had warned them just in time. Mistymon reveals itself, and says that they are capable Digimon. Winr recognizes Mistymon from a card he had seen before, and as he says Mistymon's name — Mistymon figures he knew who Mistymon was as they were invading and planning to kill everyone inside Cross Connectia. They try to say that isn't the case, but Mistymon cuts them off and says it knows all about the humans who use trading cards and that it wont allow them to carry out their plan. Altea calls out to his allies, who turn around and notice he had been taken hostage by a large group of Ultimate level Digimon. Betsumon tells Mistymon that their hostage wasn't human — which has Mistymon decide they would keep Altea since he wasn't a human. Just as Ryutaro was about to have MasterTyrannomon digivolve to Mega — Suzune stops him and points out it'd be a bad idea as doing so could result in their Mega Digimon killing the Ultimates and that that would prove them right that they were "invaders wanting to kill everyone". As Mistymon and the others leave with their hostage, Mistymon tells them that they haven't been spared, the "Guardians" would kill them, have them surrounded from all sides, and that humans weren't welcome in Cross Connectia.

Now "alone", the humans and their partners discuss how they were going to deal with the situation. Suzune sends a message to Yuuki about what had happened, and then says they can no longer wait for Yuuki as they now have to deal with the Guardians and free Altea. They realize that Yuuki was in danger as Mistymon and the others now know the human spawn point, though Ryutaro says they can split off at the same time in multiple directions and hope doing so will confuse them and have them forget where the spawn point is. The trio split up, and agree to reconvene should any of them figure out where Cool Boy/Zenith's data are. DEBUG.10 Attack

QueenBeemon[]

QueenBeemon is FunBeemon's Mega form, represented by BT19-053 in Winr's deck. Its When Attacking effect allows it to cheaply play its Royal Base subjects from Security to Battle.

During Winr's duel with an NPC's EX7-047: Tlalocmon, Winr digivolves FunBeemon, in the form of BT19-052: Vespamon,[2] into BT19-053: QueenBeemon. QueenBeemon uses its When Attacking effect to deploy TigerVespamon, which forcefully suspends three of the opponent's Digimon until the end of its next turn. DEBUG.2-2 GOOD GAME

QueenBeemon fights alongside Winr during the mass BlackImperialdramon incursion. OVERWRITE BLACK (Part 1)

While in Cross Connectia, Suzune rejects Ryutaro's suggestion to digivolve to Mega in order to prevent accidentally killing the wary Digimon inhabitants. DEBUG.10 Attack
