Dien is a Vietnamese DigiDestined, whose partner is Gorillamon. When Digimon have scattered through Asia, he rides on Gorillamon, leading the Digimon Kowloon Park in Hong Kong to meet up with Izzy and Kari. Shortly after the Asian DigiDestined gather together in Kowloon Park, Dien stands with Yue Hong and Jackie, and is amazed when Kari sends the Digimon back to the Digital World. Digimon World Tour, Pt. 1.

Partner Digimon[]

Gorillamon[]

Gorillamon is Dien's Partner Digimon. Shortly after the Christmas of 2002, wild Digimon appeared all over the world. Gorillamon and his partner Dien helped escort the escaped Digimon around Vietnam to a rendezvous point in Hong Kong so that they could be returned to the Digital World. Gorillamon later makes an appearance during the final battle aginst MaloMyotismon, and lends his energy to the DigiDestined to defeat the demon lord Digimon.
