Barbarymon is the ferocious Ultimate Level, Fallen Holy Beast Type Digimon that was a potential member of the Deva, but trickery from Kumbhiramon prevented it's ascension into their ranks. What happened was Vungareimon being so intensely consumed with infernal energies that Vungareimon digivolved into this form after proceeding to go on a rampage, killing and loading 4 distinct members of the Deva in the process. It has become known at this point to be the "Deva's Bane", and it's combat abilities excel immensely at slaying Deva Digimon. It is often highly speculated that if Barbarymon continues on this path of slaughter, it could potentially even slay Digimon as powerful as the Sovereigns. It is considered a de-facto member of the Seven Great Demon Lords, by proxy of it having absorbed the Code Key of Gluttony into it's system fully and having integrated it's power at the molecular level. At this point, it's current path of digivolution will exclusively favor Beelzemon alone. Like with Vungareimon before it, Barbarymon is a member of the Leomon-species Digimon in everything but actual name. On a small note, it has been observed that Barbarymon is trying desperately to force itself to evolve into Beelzemon faster than physically possible, resulting in twisted body proportions such as a puny midsection in it's torso, and most obvious with the backwards placed thumbs on it's hands.
Attacks[]
- Holy Flame of the Gluttonous Leonine: A fully activated Deva's Bane carried over from Vungareimon. Barbarymon's entire head will ignite in a white, holy flame, that it can either absorb into itself to heal and power itself up, or launch it at the opponent in an explosive energy blast that cannot be blocked.
- Bane of the Holy Beasts: Barbarymon's head ignites to form a mane forged of a white, holy flame, with it's claws being doused in these same flames. Barbarymon proceeds to unleash a flurry of claw swipes and slashes from both hands and feet, shredding apart even the sturdiest of material before it. Holy Beast Type Digimon are damaged the most by this onslaught, but other Digimon types have a partial resistance to it.
- Usurper's Control: Replicates any of the signature attacks of whichever 4 Deva Digimon it had loaded in-order to become Barbarymon in the first place.
- Call Naraka: Using the power of Indramon's incredible lungs, Barbarymon roars a tremendous, gale-force blast of air capable of completely bypassing Chrome Digizoid reinforcement.
- Raurava Lockjaw: Using the power of Makuramon's Treasure Ball being replicated using Barbarymon's powerful fangs and jaws, Barbarymon devours an opponent in a single bit which promptly banishes their data to the Dark Area.
- Krimíśa Mauling: Using the power of Kumbhiramon's replication ability, Barbarymon copies itself and traps it's target within a hexagon formation, in which from six different sides Barbarymon's six bodies brutally maim the opponent limb from limb until nothing is left.
- Vedhaka Blessing: Using the power of Majiramon, spirits from an unknown dimension show up and empower Barbarymon with an incredible power, in which Barbarymon drags it's target singlehandedly using this power into the Dark Area. Any and all Nightmare Soldiers and Virus Busters Digimon within 108 yards is empowered with this exact same power boost during this attack's duration.
