Alosol was the host computer who ruled over all of the "Digital World: Alosol" on one Server of the Network. It was on par with King Drasil, Homeros, and Kunlun. It resided in the Tower of Alosol at the center of the digital world it ruled.

Unlike the other host computers who has solo ideals that watches over and will not hesitate to reset the Digital Worlds without warning, Alosol is the more benevolent than the other host computers and has a own ideal to make free will, coexistence, and even choosing own path it ruled over. It also believed that things like ‘fate’ and ‘destiny’ inhibited or interfered with personal growth, and preferred to put the individual to choose own path. This put it at odds with the other host computers, who sought some form of structure and order, and put the individuals to choose own path, the order of truth, the chaos of benevolence, and the neutrality of balance. However, King Drasil, Homeros and Kunlun are against it and secretly collaborated on a protocol to eliminate Alosol, with their justifications for doing so unknown. This protocol was triggered by Homeostasis around 50 years before PR Digimon Story: Awakening of Time. As Alosol had no equivalent forces to defend itself with, in the extremely worst-case scenario right now, it was wiped out by the Royal Knights, backed up by the Olympos XIII and the Tentei Hachibushu alongside much of the Digital World it ruled over.

However, it was revealed that Kumon Kai accidentally triggered the resurrection protocol when he merged with King Drasil to form Arcadrasilmon before his permanent death through full erasure, which ended up reviving Alosol as a small young girl with no memory of who she was. This girl was found by Plutomon and given the name Solmon.

Etymologies[]

Alosol (アロソル)

Name used on Digimon.net. No official romanization available.

  • Alosol, a brand name for an ophthalmic eye-spray medication product. This likely wasn’t Zekons’ intention for the name, however, and I’ll leave it up to him to explain properly.
