The Digital World in Digimon Data Squad is a dimension which exists parallel to the Real World, formed from Earth's global digital networks and the data that flows through them. It is ruled by King Drasil, its god.
Travel between the Digital and Real Worlds is accomplished through the use of Digital Gates, which infrequently open on their own, but can also be purposefully opened through the process of a Digital Dive.
