Digimon Adventure -BEYOND- (デジモンアドベンチャー -BEYOND- Dejimon Adobenchā -BEYOND-?) is a music video and OVA set in the Digimon Adventure continuity.
Its content takes place at different points in the timeline. Some between Digimon Adventure tri. and Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, some between Kizuna and Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning, and some after Beginning.
It was released during Digimon Con 2025 on March 20, 2025.[1]
Plot Summary[]
Time has passed since that summer adventure, and there are even more children with partner Digimon now. However, because of their unique nature, many children face the looming shadows of persecution and being targeted for military use. While Taichi and Yamato are working to rescue children, they are attacked by mysterious Digimon.

Takeru "T.K." Takaishi is writing another volume of Adventures in the Digital World, this time about the events that led to him wanting to write the books. T.K. and Patamon then reminisce about these events.
Years before, after an unspecified event, Taichi "Tai" Kamiya, Agumon, Yamato "Matt" Ishida, Gabumon, Cody Hida, and Armadillomon wave goodbye to Yuri and Kuwagamon and help a boy partnered to a Kyaromon somewhere outside of Japan. While all eight of them are traveling by car, a Crowmon attacks them, and Cody and Armadillomon escape with the boy and Kyaromon to the Digital World. Agumon and Gabumon digivolve to Greymon and Garurumon to fight Crowmon.
Many events happen at differents points in time.
- Shuu Kido and T.K. talk to Lui Ohwada.
- Koushiro "Izzy" Izumi does research at Izumi Lab, while Kabuterimon fights a mysterious portal.
- Kari Kamiya closes a door on Meiko Mochizuki and is attacked by an unknown entity, which Gatomon fights back against.
- Mimi Tachikawa and Togemon fight an unknown entity who falls a giant tree.
- Sora Takenouchi jumps from Birdramon's leg and they fight an unknown entity a top a cliff.
- Joe Kido puts on a coat while standing on Ikkakumon in the sea.
- In a hospital, Shin Kido, Joe, Gomamon, Maki Himekawa, and Jun Motomiya look in shock at an Arukenimon.
- Sora, Biyomon, Kari, and Gatomon run through a field.
- Izzy, Tentomon, T.K., and Patamon head to opposite directions inside a building.
- Tai, Agumon, Matt, and Gabumon sit somewhere while talking.
- WereGarurumon and MetalGreymon destroy a wall while fighting an unspecified enemy.
- Tai, Agumon, Matt, and Gabumon jump into a light.
- Davis Motomiya, Veemon, Ken Ichijouji, and Wormmon stand on a cliff above a lot of people.
- Kari and Yolei Inoue ride Nefertimon and Halsemon, and pull a portal with ropes with the help of four other Halsemon.
- Mimi and Palmon swing through a forest.
- Davis rides Raidramon while leading a group of four-legged Armor Digimon.
- Ken stands on a hill while Bucchiemon flies leading a group of flying Armor Digimon.
- Cody rides Submarimon while leading a group of aquatic Armor Digimon.
- T.K. and Patamon walk through a foggy place.
- Imperialdramon Dragon Mode flies in the direction of a castle while being reflected on Tai, Takato Matsuki, Takuya Kanbara's goggles, and Mikey Kudo's first and second set of goggles.
Tai, Agumon, Matt, and Gabumon reminisce about how the fight never ends. Tai and Matt stand on a hill while WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon fly into the night sky.

Continuity errors
- On the covers of Adventures in the Digital World, T.K.'s name in katakana as "タケル", despite Digimon Adventure 02 depicting the cover with his name in kanji as "岳".
Digimon references
- Tai and Matt talk about the time Tai visited Michel Takaishi in "Digimon World Tour, Pt. 2". It also revealed Michel has died.
- When Imperialdramon Dragon Mode flies in the direction of the castle from his Mega Digivolution sequence, his image is reflected on the goggles worn by Taichi "Tai" Kamiya and later Davis Motomiya, Takato Matsuki, Takuya Kanbara, Mikey Kudo, and the goggles Mikey later passes to Tagiru Akashi.
